I got through my first cycle with it and did fine. I would say there's only a slight learning curve with it. I did read a lot of helpful hints though. My only issue is feeling like I have to give birth to it each time I empty it.

I love the concept of these cups but unfortunately for me, it didn't work as expected. It says its a 12 hour wear and I've heard & read great reviews but because I have a very heavy flow, I would overflow this cup after only wearing it for 4 hours.

I have a high cervix and tried the Lena cup first. It was great at doing its job better than the diva cup in fact. No leaks or anything but I could barely reach the cup with my finger tips making it hard to remove so I decided to try a cup that was a bit longer. My diva cup came in and it was easy to insert and clean. However, I would leak at night which happens to be the only problem I had with this cup. Other than that issue this cup is great. I just don't understand why I am only leaking at night.

I received the diva cup just in time for my cycle to begin, I only had one day where it leaked a little. I enjoyed the benefit of not wearing a pad or tampon since I recently discovered that tampons have chlorine in them and why would i want that in my body. I just have to work on my insertion technique, but all in all great experience and no discomfort.

i got this right before my time. My girlfriend told me about it and i decided to give it a shot. I am a first time user. I read the directions and watched a quick video on youtube. Not to much trouble putting it in.

I never leave reviews, but I really like this product! Like others have said, there is a learning curve. I have used the Diva cup for 3 days now and it's great. I am a busy mom and DON'T have time to be changing pads/tampons every few hours. On my heavy days, I needed to empty the cup 3-4 times, which is NOT bad at all. If you're comfortable with the idea of sticking your fingers down there, this product is for you.

It takes a little getting used to, especially for releasing the suction when you want to remove it. It's nice that there is so much less waste. I may need the other size however, so 4 stars because I went by the recommendation on the package.

I have tried several menstrual cups. While this isn't my favorite, it is good quality and durable. Not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but this is by far the most readily available (and well-known) menstrual cup on the market. Slight stain after several months of use, but the Diva Cup doesn't stain as easily as some other brands. If this is your first time buying a menstrual cup, I recommend researching the slight differences in shape, size, and firmness of cups. This is a good introductory cup as long as the size and firmness are right for your body. If you're on the fence about switching to menstrual cups, I 100% recommend them! I noticed an improvement in my menstruation and major reduction in related cramping, backaches, and headaches! Menstrual cups are much better for the environment and a lot cheaper than buying disposable paper-based menstrual products. They recommend replacing these every 2 years but I have been able to keep mine longer, which increases the bang for your buck! Be sure to change it every 12 hours, more on heavy days or for heavy periods.

Make sure you read the reviews on all of these cups, beyond being hilarious, they do help with sizing. I also bought the size 1 and even though you're changing a bit more often, it fits better than the size 2.

I think I need one with a longer spout or some type of ring hook. Too much trouble to get it out. Took me over 24 hours of trying. Aside from having trouble removing, i liked the product.
