I ordered the 2nd version because I've had 2 kids & I'm 35. Was able to insert fine, feels comfortable, but still leaks. Really wanted it to work better than it did. Will try again & looking into other brands.

I've read a lot of reviews about this and I decided to give it a shot. Several times. I cannot get it in right, and when I take it out, it hurts!!! I also feel like you need a little lube or aloe vera when you insert it, because unless you're wet, it isn't going in! I'm very bummed because I was looking forward to the convenience of this.

There's definitely a learning curve to using this thing, but it works well when used correctly. I will say that it can be painful inserting and removing, but you don't feel a thing once it's in (providing that you insert it correctly). I would also suggest using a pantyliner in conjunction with the cup, but most women do this anyway if they wear tampons. I would also be careful when wearing this at night on your heaviest of days. It comes with instructions, but I guess I'm just one who prefers as many details as possible.

I had heard great things about the diva cup so I had to try it out. I wanted to love it but I don't. It is so hard to remove. I read it gets easier over time but I had a lot of trouble gripping it. I prefer the soft cups as an alternative.

This thing is huge and uncomfortable as heck. Or maybe I'm small. I threw it away as soon as I tried it. It feels like a rubber speculum constantly prying you open, not for me I guess.

Very hard to remove

BEFORE YOU BUY THIS DO RESEARCH. This product is a lot more intimate than tampons. A LOT. Also it’s big. It definitely took time getting used to but I’ve recently learned there is a menstrual cup size chart! I wish I would have been able to see it beforehand because this cup is too long for me. If I put it where it is supposed to go it gives me cramps immediately because it’s touching my cervix. If I out it to where it’s comfortable it sticks out of me. I need a shorter one. So do some research before you purchase these because they aren’t cheap! I’ve tried this cup for multiple cycles and I just cannot get right. I continuously leak and get cramps from it. I bought a Femmy Cycle cup and LOVE it. It’s just a matter of your body shape. I’m 5’4” 105 lbs and I’m small…everywhere. But I don’t have a low cervix and this cup still is too long

Good with the right sizing but I suggest another cup with color to it. It's pretty gross considering the uh, staining aspect involved in the purpose of this.

Still trying to determine if this thing is what keeps causing my yeast infections. I rarely get them and now I had 1, 2 months in a row... since I started using the diva cup. Will try one more time due to cost but not sure if I would recommend it yet.

It unfortunately did not suit me. I am not sure if this is a fair review since I only used it for one cycle, but I kept trying for a whole 5 days different ways to insert the cup and read tons of reviews of how to make the process easier. It did not get easier for me to insert and take it out. To be fair tho, the cup is wonderful! I didn’t experience and leakage when inserted right, it was very comfortable in and for me it was able to hold a lot of blood! Eek lol but the rim diameter was too wide for me and even with different folding methods I found my self dreading inserting it and it hurt quite a bit getting it out. After the end of my period I instantly lose the thing too, I guess I should’ve took the lol bag with me but cuz it was really hard to get it back again in mysef I wrapped it in napkins and just lost it. I guess it was not meant for me to keep using it. I ordered a different one from a different company that’s supposed to be less rigid, material wise and extra flexible too. Nevertheless, I love the idea of the cup over tempons! Oh gosh those used to dry me out and I was never able to estimate how much I truly bleed! Thanks!
