I just could NOT get this to work for me. It may be unfair for me to give this just 2 stars because it seems like most people are very happy with this. But I have ordered the femmycup and am excited to see how that works since it is a completely different shape, unlike anything else on the market. One size/shape does not fit all when it comes to menstrual cups!

Leaks even when fully open, but it's hard to open. I got a size 2 because I'm over 30 and have had a vaginal delivery, but I think it might have been too big, because it would be really hard to get it to open (it always had dimples). Even when it was fully open, though, it leaked.

I purchased the cup #2 and inserted as instructed which took several tries. I wore it for about 5 hours comfortably, but when I tried to get it out I couldn't reach it! During the time I was walking around with it, it must have rode up, so I had to "push" it out of me ! Was definitely scared I would have to get it removed by a doctor. I don't think I will be reusing as it is too risky for me to have it not be able to come out next time.

I hate this thing. It did it's job just fine and i didn't have any spillage or leaks but dear lord the stench that came from my vagina after taking it out was unbearable and lasted for at least three days afterwards. I threw it out after using it for one period. Never again.

This product does everything it promises except for come out. It is easy to get in. It doesn't leak. You can't feel it once it is in. But when it is time to come out....forget it. Even with a good seal it rides up too high. The stem is not at all helpful to get it out because it is too short and not really something you can grab on to. It took an hour to get it out, and you couldn't pay me to try it again and risk going through the heroics and effort it took to get that thing out. I'm giving it 2 stars rather than 1 because it did deliver in every area except for being able to get it out. If everyone's first try is like this and there is just a learning curve to getting it out, then the company needs to put a warning to that effect on the instructions so the user is prepared. This was a huge dissapointment because it seemed like such a good way to reduce the trash/garbage I create. I really wanted this to work.

I really love the idea, and I'm sure it works great for some people... I am not one of those people. No matter what I do, I leak. I've tried all the different ways of inserting it, etc. Nothing changes. So yeah, go for it! Give it a shot! But just don't get your hopes up too high

I feel like all the over-positive reviews gave me an unrealistic expectation. From what I read, I was under the impression that a menstrual cup would lead me to a tampon-less, care-free land of gumdrops and teddy bears. Wrong. Instead, I had a very difficult time understanding the instructions and couldn't get the darn thing to work. Everybody said, "It'll take some practice," but maybe they should have warned that the "practice" would be incredibly painful and leave you clinging to your tampons. After 30 minutes of trying to get it in, I realized that it is incredibly uncomfortable. The instructions do not give good details! I left it in not even for an hour; it was just too painful. Taking it out was the scariest thing I've ever done! To have some foreign, satanic suction cup TEAR through your cervix was a whole lot of not fun. I was left shaking and in tears. Maybe I should have read more honest reviews and the possible dangers of putting it in wrong. Though I have not written it off completely, I am giving myself a nice long time to recover from the trauma of having Wolverine rip through my uterus before I ever try again--IF I ever do. After going through the "1 Star" reviews, I am totally regretting this purchase. Since I am an 18 year-old virgin with a family of tilted cervixes, I should have known this would not work for me. Not only is it important to talk to a gynecologist, but it is also important to read the less positive reviews. The Diva Cup is ginormous, awkward, and incredibly hard to fold and get in. I can't, in good conscience, recommend this for anyone. It has harmed too many women! Looks like it's just you and me, Tampax.

I think I got the wrong size, which I believe the universal rule for after having children and over 30 isn't accurate. I meet both of those requirements and this thing was way too big. Also don't like how bulky it is, I understand its designed to catch alot of your cycle. It was just too much hassle placing it in and removing. I do plan to try other menstrual cups.

Shipping was great this is just a issue with the product itself - it does not fit.. im 39 never had a kid and this is way too big it hurts to try to use. expensive purchase gonna sit under my sink for the rest of my life

Sorry but it leaks all the time. I used both of them. Spend 6 months. Tried everything. It still leaked. Not good for summer but ok for winter where you can hide your stains.
