well... I love it. Enough said. It is easy to insert and clean, does not leak, and provides a minimum 5 hours on my heaviest day (and the full 12 advertised by the third day). I'm lowering pollution, it does not smell odd like tampons can, and it is much more comfortable than tampons (and much much much more than pads!). I used to track my period on an app on my phone and check frequently dreading the next one... now I never even think to track or check. I just wear this and actually have to remind myself to clean it because I can't feel it at all. I'm going to be using these for as long as I have a period!

So I have been using this product for like 5 years. I could never ever ever go back to the alternatives (shudder!). Having a period sucks and this just makes it a little less sucky. Its just so damn convenient! I don't understand why anyone would use anything else. Really. Just get it.

Menstrual cups are great, and the Diva 1 is a good cup for me after day 2 of my period. For a moderate/heavy flow on the first couple of days I recommend the fleurcup as it holds more and is actually much easier to open. There are many options for menstrual cups out there so feel free to do some research. Tips: 1. Push/bear down when adjusting to get the cup to pop open _and_ when you take it out. Removing a menstrual cup without bearing down can be very painful. 2. Read the directions that come with the box. 3. Ignore the age/child birth recommendations. If you have a heavy flow, you want a larger cup (for those days). 4. Personally, I recommend ignoring the five million other folds that women have invented for menstrual cup insertion. The punch down method works great for me, and the others (available on youtube with demonstrations) just take extra time without making anything easier. 5. There is a learning curve with cups. I never had a major leak. I suggest backing up with an organic pad on heavy days if you are out and about. I also use organic liners because of the occasional "residual slobber" (the minor spotting due to some blood being beyond the cup prior to insertion). 6. By my 3rd period with the menstrual cups, inserting the cup took no longer than a tampon (changing takes longer due to the cleaning process). 7. You _can_ change it in public restrooms without using the sink and being covered in blood. Unless I leave the cup in too long, I don't typically get blood all over my hand but even if I did a good tip is to carry baby wipes with you. The baby wipes will clean your hands and the cup (you clean that more thoroughly later at home)safely. Still, I try to plan not to have to do that if I can. 8. Twisting is the best method for me to get the cup to open but _only_ now that I am seasoned at menstrual cups. Twisting did not work the first few times because I didn't bear down. Hula hoop motions, twisting, squatting, and a finger inserted up to the rim worked for me at first. Most importantly, do not get discouraged! Cups are great! They last longer. There is no waste. I no longer have to buy tampons at all, and the same two small boxes of organic pads will last me for most of the year. This is a _big_ money saver. And they are cleaner and better for your vaginal ph. Oh, and no more hiding tampon wrappers in my boyfriend's tiny, exposed trash can.

I had been contemplating on ordering the DIVA CUP for quiet some time. I am so glad that I ordered mine when I did. I highly recommend the DIVA CUP to every female...everywhere! I am in love and would buy stock in the DIVA CUP if I could...lol. It is very easy to use, easy to clean and easy to put away/store until your next cycle! No more messy pad! No more messy tampons! Most of all...no more worrying about leaks! Awesome awesome product!

saving SO MUCH money now that I picked up one of these. a little advice, a little practice using it before you actually NEED it will save you from messy accidents. i "practiced" beforehand and never had any problems when I NEEDED to use it.

I will never go back to pads or tampons! If your period is very heavy, use a panty liner just in case there is some leakage. When you're in a public place, carry a water bottle with you to rinse it out. I use a small container with a little Castile soap in it, it works wonderfully!

I wanted to try this cup for a while but was worried it would be difficult to use. Actually it is very easy and best of all, its practically like not having a period at all. No leaks, no fuss. I change the cup in the morning and then at night, two times and I'm done. Awesome product, wish I would have tried it earlier.

A few of my good girl friends always talked about how much they loved their Diva Cup. After listening to them rave about it, I decided to get one. I now know why it has great reviews. It seriously made it so that I didn't dread my period ever again. It is so easy to use once you get the hand of it, and it is nice not having to restock tampons or even carry them around! I will never go back!

This was my first cup and I love it! It makes my period not as daunting and stress inducing knowing I will not leak on my pants. Like other reviewers said, it does start to stain a bit with use.

This saves money!! No more adding tampons to my monthly budget. It is reusable and I am glad I made this purchase. I does discolour after multiple uses.
