I've only had it for about a week but I believe I have seen enough to say it does a very good job of fast charging. Our family uses a Motorola and a Samsung phone and we own an ASUS notepad. All three charge in a very short time from low battery to near full. Disclosure: I also bought cables that are advertised as being suited for high speed charging. I have used no other cables but these to charge our devices. An improvement I would recommend is to include some form of indicator to tell when it is plugged into an A/C outlet. A couple of times the connection on the back of the charger worked loose enough to stop charging but appear to still be plugged into the unit.
