I bought this night light set based on its affordability. Unfortunately, they don’t last long. It did detect darkness and turn on automatically at night; brightness was not ideal but acceptable by adding more units per room. There was no motion detection in these lights; they only turn on at night and off when sun rose. One the the advantages were that they are energy efficient; I did not notice any cost increase in my energy bills. I would like to buy another brand next time.

---RE Your Topic "Motion Detection" (??):I had no idea these were supposed to detect motion. In fact I would say you are incorrect and that these do not detect motion.--- RE Your Topic "Brightness":I had high hopes these would illuminate certain areas more efficiently than they do. I already had one in my computer room (Another brand.) and I put one of these in there to lighten it up more. But it doesn't really help.---RE Your Topic "Energy Efficient":I have absolutely no idea if it is efficient or not. This was a neccessity at the time, but has proven to be a little disappointing.

I was looking for a very dim nightlight for the bedroom to provide just enough light to navigate the room at night. This is NOT that light as it is WAY too bright. Nice quality, when plugged into the bottom plug socket it sits very close to the wall and does not interefere with the top outlet. I wrapped the small fixture in black tape leaving a tiny space for light to exit the fixture and provide for our needs but it looks very unattractive. Left at full brightness I don't see how one could sleep with the amount of light provided by this product. Not recommended as a bedroom nightlight, but fine for hallways away from sleeping area.

These babies are super bright and mine pop on under normal lighting conditions. I don't like that.As you can see in the photos, these lights are on under moderately lit conditions. It doesn't take much to activate them and don't expect any motion sensing. These things are on. They're just on.I was really hoping for less sensitivity. Some motion sensing would've fixed the problem, but that's off the table. The problem here is how distracting it is. Off the corner of my eye, I can see this needlessly bright splash in peripheral. With four out of five lamps on!I don't mind that there's no motion sensing, but if these things would just wait until I cut the lights off, I'd be happy.Okay bye.

This is not a motion detection device. The sensor just knows dark vs bright. When it seas that it's dark, it will begin to emit a soft white glow. The white glow is non-adjustable, but thankfully it is not obnoxiously bright but rather too dim.The sensor threshold is actually kind of high, but one of the units was also extremely low. It's kind of inconsistent between each unit. This serves well. Despite coming on relatively easy, it consumed small enough amount of energy. The brightness is soft enough that you don't get blinded, but won't necessarily help you identify an intruder unless light is positioned at height level. The brightness is also not consistent. Will buy again for uniform look. My expectations may have been a bit high.

Loved these when first purchased but thought they would last longer than 5 months before dying.

I now have 2 to compare one being a better brand. This Uigos light is much bigger and more cheap than the first ones I bought. They give off the same amount of light but this Uigos just feels cheaper, more fragile and has a grayish yellow tint to it which gives it a cheap look. Not too thrilled with quality. I'll give updates to see how long it lasts. Feels and looks knock off
