The globes are not working the way it’s described. The opening gets clogged with dirt, so the water doesn’t go through

Water does not stay in bulb long drains out way before 2 weeks. Don’t waste your money and energy.

These water globes just don't work as advertised. The first time I used them, the water immediately drained completely out as soon as I stuck it in the pot. My understanding was that they somehow sensed more water needed to be released. Therefore, I assumed that maybe my plants were just "that dry". I refilled them a few more times that day, because my plants were just sucking the water up. I thought the whole premise was that the globe "knew from the moisture in the soil" when it was saturated, and would eventually stop releasing water. Well... either I misunderstood the concept, or the claims on the box are just false. Within a short time of watering, the soil-filled water had drained out everywhere, leaving quite a mess to clean up on a nice wooden table and all over the floor. (And after hitting the floor, the dirt-water splashed up into the walls, etc.)I use one globe per pot. They always empty immediately upon placing them in the soil. Now when I use them, I just fill the globes once per week. I might as well use a watering can.

Don't buy these, buy the ones that come in a pack of four. The glass is cheap and the stem is short.
