Works beautifully! Great value

This has been a great addition to our kitchen. Works perfectly for our space, and love that the lid a motion activated and touchless. Great price and looks great!

Very nice. It has an on/off switch in the back and takes 4 AA batteries. I like that the motion sensor isn’t overly sensitive—you just wave your hand over it to open, and then again to close it. It’s really quiet too. There’s no noise when it opens or shuts, and the lid fits tight and feels secure. It’s very lightweight, not bulky or in the way, and you can use any regular 13-gallon trash bag, no specific brand needed.

We've had this bin for a few years now (slightly older design). It worked well for us for a while, but there were always times when the sensor would malfunction and stay open or would open and close sporadically. Now, it has completely lost its marbles. The sensor is unusable, we have to leave the lid cracked open and use it as a manual bin. We'll be buying a new step-open bin.

Not as convenient as I originally anticipated: Sensor doesn’t always work, so that can be a slight annoyance. Also when hands are full, and you don’t have a hand to run past the sensor. I’m actually missing my old regular one that uses a foot pedal to open.

I have had this trash can for a few years and absolutely loved it at first! I found the motion sensor so convenient and it worked flawlessly for 2-3 years, then we began to have problems with the sensor malfunctioning, as other reviews have stated. It went from having occasional problems to now us having to use it as a manual trash can since it does not work at all anymore. So, while this trash can is great at first, just know it is something you could likely have to replace a few years in!
