Bough for my wife and had a hard time finding the heartbeat at first. Reaeched out to their customer service and they gave me some tips that helped. Would say wait until at least 15 weeks, because at 12 weeks it was hard to find for us.

Just received this in the mail today. I’m in my 11th week. It was really hard to find the heartbeat, but I do have a retroverted uterus. Took us about 10 minutes to find the heartbeat and it already used half of the battery life of brand new batteries. So I’m ordering a bulk supply of AA batteries and ordering more gel. My husband seems to know how to work this better than I do. Lol. And this is our #4.

Worked really well but broke in 1.5 months.
