I have 4 small long fur dogs that spend a lot of time outdoors. They get really dirty and matted at times. I have spent a lot of money on professional grade at home grooming tools and it is takes hours most of the time just to comb, bathe and clip one dog. I have two cats that I like to clip. One cat is pretty chill and doesn't mind being clipped until it gets to his under legs or near his genitals. With this clippers it was really easy to get this all done and one sitting not have hair flying all over the place sticking to me making me feel uncomfortable as well as stressing the cat out. At the same time it was extremely quiet, the sound was not necessarily in the clippers but more so in the vacuum which is not on the animal. I think this helped immensely. The other one is a long haired Persian that is my grandfather's but he does not keep up on brushing and so by keeping it short and it's been easier to maintain this cat is our trouble cat. (White cat) we normally take him to the vet twice a year to get them clipped because he's a little crazy and needs to be sedated. We have started to get concerned about sedating him and the health risk that involve his heart and blood clots. I was able to cut his hair with no sedation medication. He was harder than my other cat but I never ever could even think about doing this with a regular clippers. I am 100% sold on this product and I would buy it again.If I had a dog that needed to be groomed off and with thick, full coats and undercoats all the different attachments that come with this clippers would work really good for dog grooming. However, I do feel like it's a little too large for cat grooming and I'll stick to my hand brushes for that and use a clippers only for maintenance. Read more

What a life saver! Worth every pennyas it makes grooming effortless. I have asthma triggered by allergies and pet dander.
