This tumbler is super quite. I have one week left till my 1st batch is done tumbling. I'm SUPER EXCITED to see what it creates. The crystals have changed each time. The process is amazing.

This product worked perfect for what I wanted to use it for. I make jewelry and like to use sea glass. You can find sea glass at the dollar store but it has sharp edges and that is not good for wearing. I put some in with first packet of grit and in 24 hours I checked it and it was exactly what I wanted it to be. If I had started with plain broken glass I am sure it would have taken longer. I will try that next time.

Thank you Rachel@SurrealBrands. Original post: I purchased as a gift for my grandson. He and his Dad filled it according to directions and when the power was turned on the tumbler made loud noises and motor stopped working. I originally purchased this as a Christmas gift for my grandson but they were in the middle of major renovations and a move, so I didn’t give it to him until they were settled. Unfortunately, this was outside the return window. I intended to contact the company immediately but the world pandemic and other things took precedence. Disheartening to spend money and have no recourse to replace item.

I was afraid that the noise from this would be loud, but it is really not much louder than a box fan, even at the highest speed setting. We are through our first round and it is amazing how much the appearance of the rocks has improved. All the components are well build, there are no leaks and it is easy and intuitive to use. The included kit of rocks is also a great blend of attractive semi precious stones. The only negative things is that there aren't two so you can make more polished rocks.

We are on Step Two of the process and the results of Step One were pretty dramatic. My husband has NO hobbies so I thought this might be something he could look forward too and he is. We have a huge pile of river rock in front of our house for landscaping purposes and we are always finding pretty rocks when we sit down to put them in our cart to move. We will surely find some to put in the tumbler. It is noisy however, so our solution is to put it on our back porch where it can rumble away.

I’ve no other rock polisher to compare this with but so far, it is of excellent quality and the customer service seems on point (I received a thoughtful thank you email with my purchase and a story of the company). We are enjoying phase 2 of our rock tumbling. Put it in your garage or basement and the tumbling won’t bother you. And if you live in an apartment, maybe someone you don’t love’s garage? For the price it’s a nice quality item and it teaches patience. Comes with some nice rocks also.
