This is such a great explorer kit. It comes with a critter cage, 2 dishes with lids, a net, magnifying glass, writing board and paper pages to journal your findings. This all comes with a really nice adjustable strap bag to carry it all. The net and magnifying glass have durable wooden handles and the glass on the magnifying glass is nice and thick. The door on the cage actually stays securely shut. I’m am so impressed with the quality of this set and my 5 year old is really taking an interest in the outdoor and nature since getting this. I highly recommend this set.

This was such a cute little explorer set. My favorite part was the little cage is made of metal and not cheap plastic. This set literally comes with everything you would need to catch little critters. It even comes with a clipboard and papers so you can keep track of what you see/catch

This outdoor explorer kit is so perfect for little curious explorers to play in the yard and would be a perfect gift as well! I do wish the butterfly/insect net was a little bigger and with a longer handle because it seems too small and flimsy, but my daughter loves it regardless. It’s absolutely perfect for creative play!

Really great outdoor bug kit for kids! It comes with a magnifying glass, a really nice durable canvas bag with a shoulder strap, a clip board with pages to record findings, two little disc trays with lids to keep your findings in, a net and large blue metal container with a vented door for larger critters. The items are really well made comparable to some of those plastic kits. The containers hold up well between two kids and hold their plants, bugs and dirt samples well. Plus they can fit everything but the big blue container in the shoulder bag to carry with them wherever they go. It’s a great set for explorers!

Bought this for my son’s 5th birthday and it was a hit! He caught some ants, roly-poly’s, and a spider! And it’s so aesthetically pleasing!

This is the cutest kids toy and all functional. My son takes this with him every time he goes outside and comes back with a bag full of outdoor treasures. He has even started a field guide with the papers it came with. The cage is a little difficult to open and close, my 6 year old needs help opening most times.
