Disappointed

This is the third, and most expensive of three robot vacuums I've tried, and it is the least successful at doing its job. 1.) It blows debris away as it approaches it, making a bigger mess than was already there. This is true of spot cleaning and general cleaning. 2.) There is no intelligence to its movement. It will zip by a pile of debris and go in the opposite direction. There is so much leftover debris, even after 3 separate cleanings. It also bumped pretty violently into my baseboards, scuffing the paint. 3.) It cannot climb on to, nor maneuver around upon my low/medium pile rug. The Shark and Cordey were both able to do so easily. 4.) It does not clean edges well. It will start edging a long a wall, and then randomly change course.

Don't waste your money

I should've known when unboxing it to return it ASAP! One of the side brush arms was bent leaving it to clean with only 2 effective ones (result of poor packaging). In addition to a delivering a damaged product the vacuum will only dock if you place it directly in front of the dock - it will run out of battery life trying to get back .... Tech support wasn't effective, telling me it was the way it was designed (it worked while they remoted in but as soon as you run it without them ... epic FAIL!!!)

No, just no.

Agree with other reviews. It misses so much it’s ridiculous. I have a very open floor plan and it still manages to bump around my coffee table and get stuck. Also it only seems to be cleaning one part of my house despite the kitchen and dining room being connected to my living room. Ridiculous, returning it to Target and getting a dyson animal cord free vacuum.

I would not buy this!

Will clean when in open room. But who has the time to remove all the furniture so it can vacuum. Just got off phone with customer service, just demonstrated the fact that could not dock. It took 8 minutes to dock from six feet away after going the the opposite direction from the docking station.

Defective out of Box

Defective out of box. Error 9 stating bumper blocked or jammed. Troubleshooting steps did not resolve the issue. Quick search online advises its a known issue requiring repair kits and/or soldering. The robot vacuum experiment failed miserably. Traditional vac it is.

Sweeps beautifully, but reliability immediately in question

We have three double-coated dogs. Daily vacuuming is needed to keep up with the shedding, which just doesn't happen. So the dogs gave my husband this Roomba for Christmas. He was pleased, but cautious. We had a Roomba Discovery 15 years ago. It spent much of its tenure stuck under the furniture (ignoring the carefully-placed "stop" signal generators), and developed a series of malfunctions that rendered it junk when the warranty expired. With both the cost and the height of the unit lower now, I gave Roomba another chance. On first use (12/25), the 675 purred off the dock, collected a vast amount of dog hair beneath the hard-to-clean-under sectional sofa, whisked easily under the dining room chairs and effortlessly swept along the kitchen cabinets before re-docking to recharge, first floor partially done. We were delighted. On second use (12/26), the side brush stopped spinning as the unit headed back to the dock. We thought it was conserving power. Nope. It didn't spin at restart yesterday. We performed the recommended "care." Twice. No change. Customer care was swamped (2 hour hold) but polite; they are sending a replacement side brush module. Less than three hours of run time and something is already broken! If this is the first such event, instead of the only, the 675 will be our last Roomba.

Doesnt Work

Vacuum doesn’t work well on hardwood or tile floors. Works better on carpet until it doesn’t. This thing worked twice and completely stopped picking up the trash. It would just roll right over. Ugh. This is going back.

I would not buy this again

I have had this Roomba for about a year now and I hate it! It's way to loud, it hits everything in it's path and leaves a mark, it gets stuck under things and it's starting to start up earlier than I have it set to start! I have it set to start at 9:00 in the morning and it's now starting 15 minutes before 9:00! I will never ever buy another one for as long as I live! Oh and buy the way there is no way I can contact anyone if I need to ask a question about it! Now what kind of business is that? I hope everyone sees my post and thinks twice about buying this trash!

Upgrade for the money

It’s constantly getting stuck and running into things. It doesn’t learn your house at all. It goes to the same places over and over again. I’m constantly picking it up and moving it. It never finds the dock to dock itself. The app will ask how it did making you think over time it improves but it never does. Spend the extra money on the Shark that maps your house.
