Just received it so I don't know about the life of this sharpener but I will say it worked WONDERFULLY on all my knives! Makes everything seem like I'm cutting through warm butter. I definitely recommend this item!

Sharpened up 6 steak knives in a flash. Then on to my old Chicago Cutlery from when they made great high-carbon knives. Quite happy with the results.

What I wanted.

I'm very pleased, it actually work well. Returning defective items can take a long time and many e-mails.

No directions on how to use the sharpener?

It was a good deal…. Works just fine **took forever to get here like it was on a long boat from China 😉

This is a terrible sharpener. It’s ruined my expensive Global knives. Don’t always believe what you read. I should have known better. Pure junk. The metal cover popped off as soon as I took it out of the plastic wrapper and my knives edges have been ruined.
