Description
At HealthyBaby – The Who, The How, and the Why
HealthyBaby, we put health first, from prenatals to pre-k, and we see a need for new standards now.
Who? We are big-hearted parents, activists, and developmental experts on a mission to impact our babies’ development. Come meet us. We are the real deal.
How? Remove worries and encourage connection. During the time your baby is in diapers, their bodies are developing so rapidly and their brains are making 1 million+ connections per second! We’re here to help you demystify development at your own pace, in a way that’s unique to you and your baby. We see development as a dynamic flow, not a race to be won, because between the milestones are countless moments to create more connectedness and resilience.
Why? Our world has changed so dramatically, and having a baby today is different than it’s ever been.
We all care about developing brains and we know that everything in our babies’ environments matter. Of course, you deserve to know what diapers are made of. Your baby will be in a diaper 24/7 for 3+ years — that means every single day. And of course, your baby deserves to be overprotected during this time. We should not have to worry about that. Our diapers are paired with inspiration and support to make this magical time more supported, because now is the time to thrive and connect, not worry.
What is the EWG VERIFIED mark?
As pioneer of the EWG VERIFIED diaper, our diapers are independently verified by a third-party team of scientists, chemists, and toxicologists to meet their rigorous standard for health, human safety, and transparency based on the latest research.
The EWG VERIFIED mark from the Environmental Working Group recognizes products that meet the strictest standards for human health. This means transparency. This means trust.
Over 92,000 personal care products have been screened against the EWG VERIFIED standard. Of those, only around 2,200 products have achieved the EWG VERIFIED mark, and there is only one diaper, HealthyBaby’s. And it wasn’t easy to do. They created a bar that we encourage the rest of the diaper industry to meet.
For over 30 years, the Environmental Working Group has been called the de facto regulator when it comes to chemicals found in everyday products, while we wait for Washington to set standards that will meaningfully protect the public from chemicals. Environmental health is public health.

We went through 3 "natural" brands with a rash and blow outs. After a box of new born and a box of 1s we have not had a blowout nor diaper rash. Our baby is a petite girl. She got on the new born at 9lbs and now the 1s at over 10lbs. I read some had blowouts with this brand so I assume it's not the diapers but rather the baby body shape and duration the baby remains in the dirty diaper. We use around 10 diapers each day. These diapers are soooo soft. And they do not leak, even with blow outs, no leaks. I was skeptical when buying them but I really like them a lot. I have had a subscription to Hello Bello for the last 3 years to get better diapers (less chemicals), but I think I’ll be switching to these. Very happy with them!!! Read more

I love these diapers. I was skeptical at first because some reviews said they leak, but i needed some to arrive same day since her normal brand wasn't coming for a week (she was suddenly, magically a size up). They do NOT leak, i think they must need to size up because these even work overnight. I try not to disturb her too much at night so if she's comfy and not poo I'll feed and let her return to sleep. They are full in the morning, and this morning after she woke up she took her nap immediately after feeding for another 3 hours and I didn't get to change her until after that nap - needless to say she had a completely full diaper, she was still dry and there were no leaks. She's also had a few poos, nothing huge but none of them escaped the confines of the diaper. I might switch brands for these because the honest ones run a little small and they have a ton of ink. Would definitely buy again! Read more

Love that these diapers are a non-toxic and a safe option for my baby. Would give five stars but as some other reviewers mentioned, the sizing seems a little off. For reference, my baby is 12 lbs and fits size 2 but I think we made need to size up soon since we’ve started have a couple blowouts out the top of the back and leaks. I always make sure the front flaps meet or touch what would be the seat before I pull the tabs over to secure it to prevent leaks, and I’ve noticed recently there’s a gap where the flaps meet the back. Other than the fit, think it’s a great diaper! Read more

I bought these thinking they would be a better diaper for my baby. Unfortunately, they fail to do one of the main things a diaper should do: catch poop. I’m not sure if it’s just a sizing thing, but every time my baby wears one of these diapers, we have a blowout situation. Baby started around 6lbs, so at first I thought they were just too big. But now that we are closer to 9lbs, I think either they just don’t work for our baby or there are some inherent design flaws that require a complete outfit change with every poop.Things worth mentioning: we’ve only tried newborn size in these diapers, which apparently work up to ten pounds, which is a milestone our baby hasn’t reached yet. Every time we put any diaper on our baby, we make sure it’s up high enough so there isn’t extra room around the legs, and we reach in to grab the inner and outer leg liner to prevent leaks. These diapers leak every time. The first time we put one on we were befuddled that she peed out the leg. Then we had her first ever blowout out the back, when she was wearing these diapers. I then started to notice a pattern: we only had problems when baby was wearing these diapers. Even with very reasonable sizes poops. Blowouts out the leg are the most common, but we’ve had them out the back and one out the front (she had peed in it first and not sure what happened but it didn’t absorb the poop and it went up the front). We’ve gone through over 400 newborn diapers at this point. We’ve also tried newborn pampers, Millie moon, and earth and Eden diapers—we’ve only had blowouts in these healthy baby ones. Every time our baby poops in them, actually. Every. Time.I thought these would be the only diapers we’d buy for our baby once getting through all the gifted ones, but I ended up returning the unopened box and honestly won’t use the rest of the one we already opened. I feel bad giving them to a friend to be honest. It’s not worth the mess. I like a better-for-you diaper but not if it doesn’t do its job. Read more
