Very heavy so it does not tip over. The dimmer switch for the top lamp allows you to set just the right brightness. The pole scews together so well you cannot see the connection points easily. Just make sure you screw in each part straight and completely and don't move on to the next part until you are sure each piece is completely screwed in correctly.

Excellent quality materials, heavy base to help prevent tipping, solid switches. Love the dimmable feature for the 2 bulbs in the upper large frosted torchiere. We bought a second one we liked it so much and would definitely recommend this lamp.

Got during big sale and love it. Classy and simple design, doesn’t look cheap at all. First one arrived with main shade completely shattered. Target replaced whole lamp quickly but wish they would have sent just the replacement shade for less environmental impact.
