1. A Fast Scanner
Digital Camera-Based System
We are using a digital camera-based scanning system instead of the traditional linear image sensor based system, that helps to archive a much faster scanning. With the traditional linear image sensor scanners, the sensor array and light source need to move across the pane, reading the entire area, and then go backward before scanning the next page which is a drawn-out process. ET16 works totally differently. It takes a snapshot of the document placed beneath its lens in a split second, much like a camera, so it is amazingly fast.

SONY 16M-Pixel HD CMOS Sensor
ET16 is equipped with 16M-Pixel HD CMOS Sensor, when compared with the CCD sensors commonly used in other overhead scanners, CMOS sensors have no limit to the number of data readout channels, so its data readout is quicker. When it comes to the scanner, that means ultra-high-speed scanning.

CPU and Memory
A scanner is not just about capturing the image, it needs to process the image too. ET16 has a 480MHz 32-bit MIPS CPU on board, working together with the 1GB DDR3 cache memory, 2GB NAND flash storage, ET16 can complete the image processing (flattening the image, removing fingers, auto crop, de-skew etc.) quickly and smoothly.

2. Easy to use – Designed with the user in mind
With ET16, scanning was never so easy before, all you need to do is press the button and the scanner will capture the image, flatten it, crop it, de-skew it, purify the background, remove your fingers from the image and send the image to your PC via USB or your Czur Cloud account via WiFi. ET takes care of the all the hassles, that is why we call it SMART.

3. An all-purpose scanner
ET16 is an all purpose scanner. Objects with a size up to A3 can be scanned by ET including books, magazines, business cards, receipts or even 3D objects.

4. Proprietary image processing algorithm with first-class OCR Engine from Abbyy
Czur’s proprietary image processing algorithm is what makes ET outstanding. It helps to flatten the image, cut the edge, purify the background and remove fingers from the image automatically and quickly.When it comes to OCR, Czur has implement the industry leader – Abbyy’s FineReader Engine in Czur Scanner programme (for Windows Only). FineReader Engine can recognise 12 languages (Traditional Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, French, German, Polish, Greek, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean) with high accuracy and transform the scanned file into searchable and editable PDF files with ease.

5. Czur Cloud
Uploading
When connected to the internet, ET will upload the scanned files to Czur Cloud automatically so you can access your scanned files anywhere, any-time.

Processing
When a scanned image was uploaded, Czur Cloud will process the image for you automatically. You can even run OCR on the cloud if you need.

Storing
Each Czur Cloud account holder has 10GB free secured storage which is sufficient to store and manage your scanned files. You will never need to worry losing your scanned files again, they are always there waiting for you.

Sharing
Simply generate a share link and send it to anyone you wish to share with, they will then be able to download the files on-line.
