I picked this one because I thought I would like it, and I got exactly what I thought I would. It’s ripstop fabric, all the seams look sturdy, and I like the fact that the hammock is joined at the ends with a loop of webbing rather than the rope I’ve seen on some others. The straps are sturdy. I also like that the carabiners are not the 17 pound steel type that came with the last hammock I bought. Very pleased.

These are great carabieners for the money. I use them to attach things to my pack. I dont rock climb anymore, but I dont know if I would be comfortable using them for climbing. They seem well made but Their origin is a bit unknown. I have seen tests that indicate that this type of carabiener does comply with spec.

Easily my favorite purchase all year! I recently moved nearby a lake in Minneapolis and wanted to spend my evenings exploring the neighborhood and enjoying the beautiful lake. This hammock is nice and compact so I can take it anywhere and easily put it up/take it down wherever I find a good pair of trees. I've used friends' hammocks by more popular brands, and the quality is just as great as those but the price is much more reasonable! I chose this brand first because of the price and instantly fell in love with the small family-run company that they are when I read into it. Great customer service and attention to me after I ordered, following up to make sure I got it on time and that it was the quality I expected. I've recommended to friends and family and am so happy with my purchase!

While I'm not planning on using these caribiners for any serious climbing or safety situations, it's comforting to know they're rated and could take a beating. They're pretty lightweight, have good spring action and look great. Looking forward to buying some other budget-friendly Hiker Hunger gear to explore the great outdoors with my kids.

This is a great camp blanket, or even sit-at-home-on-the-couch blanket! Mine came in at about 19oz, light enough and compressible enough to fit in any bag. I took it to the woods to hang in my hammock in 31 degrees yesterday and was toasty. (I was only out an hour and had an underquilt, but it was sufficient as a top quilt for a nap). Very pleased, would buy again.

Warm and lofts up to just the right thickness and easy to repack and doesn't take much space. This blanket is just as great to cuddle up on the sofa as it is to take outdoors. The fabric is soft but it stays in place and doesn't slip on itself when you are trying to wrap up in it. The size is great. An overall amazing product!

I haven’t used the actual straps yet, but they feel extremely sturdy (comparable to Eno straps I already own but about half the price). Customer service was amazing, I got a free gift with my purchase and a picture of their dog!! Support this great small business!

This was a great buy! Got our first snow of the year over January 1 and I was able to use it indoors after shoveling to see how warm I got! I was also able to enjoy snow in my backyard wrapped up in it to test it out. I love the color and can't wait to test it out outdoors for a longer time!

This is my 2nd Hiker Hunger Hammock! I got another one so I wouldn’t have to keep taking my backyard one down if I was headed out camping/roadtripping! Great quality and I love the durable material and the roominess of the double hammock. They are also a wonderful small business to support! Very friendly too (I had to communicate with them about a previous order a few years back, lovely people).
