What a great little machine. The 8 year old girl I gave it to learned to sew in a matter of hours, (with my instruction of course). It came already threaded with the bobbin in place which was a bonus. She was thrilled.

My granddaughter is 9 and wanted to learn to sew. I bought this at Xmas and have just been able to use it with her. She loves it and overall it is pretty good. Just not sure if it can handle thicker material. The only complaint I have yet is that the leaver to life the presser foot is plastic and I am concerned it will break off. But so far, it is great.
