My teens bickered over this. I wasn’t sure what the allure was, but they both really wanted this lamp. My oldest said that it will give a good vibe to her room without the hassle of LED strip lights, which continuously fall down. They like that this has an array of colors and can flash, strobe and fade. I don’t think the remote is all that great. You have to be pretty close to the lamp for it to work. But overall, this is a fun lamp and I guess I am going to have to get a second one.

When I selected this, I thought it was one of those lamps intended for seasonal depression but I misunderstood. However, it is really cool! I haven’t used it a whole lot yet, but I do like the remote where you can select from several different light colors and effects. Even though it’s not a SAD lamp, it does make me happy 😊

The remote also only works if you’re aiming it directly at the domed glass section, not at all if you have the light pointed towards the wall and you’re aiming for the back of the light (which had me checking the batteries and thinking that the remote was broken until I reached out to support). It does what it needs to and I enjoy having it, but there might be better budget options out there.

I'm disappointed with this lamp. The name sunset lamp is very deceiving. I assumed it would gradually dim. Not the case. This is just a light that has different colors and effects. Comes with remote for convenience which is nice but I was looking for something that gradually dimmed for my toddlers bed time routine.
