Bought this for my nieces birthday. Everything was great about this product except the first time trying to plug the charger into its port, it broke. It is unable to light up at night now, other than that my 8 year old niece is happy with it.

I just put this together with my 5 y.o. daughter on a day when she wasn't feeling great. I read through instructions first and then we started. 1st step, add soil and wet. Well I guess we didn't wet it enough because when we added the sand it just mixed right in. Add more water and then add sand again. Then wet with sprayer. OK...Make sure you have it filled all the way up or you can't spray it tilted as you're filling it. And even when it's full it likes to stop spraying and you have to tip it up...this continues through out the process. The soil is a bit annoying as it's kind of thick and clumpy and hard to smooth down. It also turned my hands and the table gold. It cleaned off but it was weird. Overall: Seems to be do OK but didn't go together as smoothly as hoped. We'll see what grows!

It’s a Christmas present for my grand child so it hasn’t been opened. It’s hard to do a star rating when it hasn’t been opened or put together yet.

It is a gift so I haven't opened it. It is very cute.

This is neat, but quite a bit smaller than I anticipated for the price.

Easy to put together... little expensive though

So I love this item and so does the 6 yr old boy I got it for, but the lack of life on the light is really terrible, we have to charge it so much. He has been using it as a nightlight of sorts and I turn it off after an hour, but the next night it is dead. Any suggestions?

Cute present, seeds sprouted within a few days. My daughter loved it even when the light burned out after the second use.

Very cute activity for 6year old. The only issue I have is I saw the exact terrarium in a craft store for $12.00. For that price, 5 stars. Unfortunately I paid double the price, so only 3 stars for this review.

It never grew.... going to try again in spring
