It was shipped fairly quickly and it was a great gift for the little girl I got it for.

Kids loved it

I asked the gift recipient to tell me how he liked it, so I could write this review. He is an 11 year old boy. He said he loved it! He set it up immediately and is monitoring it daily. He said it was a better gift than the many other toys he received. This is a boy who appreciates and loves nature, gardening, and growing things.

I purchased the terrarium for my seven year old granddaughter as a project to keep her engaged during the current Corona Virus crisis. My granddaughter and daughter-in-law enjoyed assembling it over this past weekend. I have also been informed that the garden has started to grow. It's a great project to keep kids occupied, especially during the current isolation situation.

for 9-year-old to stay attentive/excited. She enjoyed this project. The only thing she was bummed about was that there was very little blue rock -- as in not at all like the picture. But the seeds grew very nicely -- so much so we had to take the top off they got so tall!

I bought this for Christmas for my grandson who is 4. With the virus "shelter-in-place" my daughter finally got a chance to take this out and work with him. My 2 yr old granddaughter helped. They took turns putting the ingredients together and sent me a picture. It sits on the window sill in the grandson's bedroom. The kids loved putting it together. Makes a great gift!!

My 7-year-old loves this. We had fun setting it up. The instructions were easy and clear. It turned out beautifully and my son now uses it as a night light when he goes to bed. We saw significant growth in about 2 days- less time than the instructions said it would take!

This was a little smaller than expected, and I didn't have high hopes as we were putting it together. But I have to say, as soon as those little seeds started growing my kids were more than thrilled! It's been a fun little project for my 3 & 5 year old. They take turns watering it, and like to watch the it grow. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a gift for a child.

My grandkids, ages 3, 5 & 7 absolutely loved and still love this kit. The seeds grew quickly and I'm not sure how faithful they were with watering once they took it home, but they say the 'plants' are growing. Definitely buy with confidence!
