This base is larger than I thought it would be--my fault for not looking at the dimensions. I am waiting on the umbrella to arrive, so I can't comment yet on it's functionality, but the materials appear to be well made. I plan on filling it with water as opposed to sand, mostly for convenience. I hope it can withstand the strong Florida winds we get in the summer.
Product matched description perfectly and was easy to assemble within 30minutes. I used a socket wrench instead of thin tool provided. Love the portable option, waterproof cover to the base, and solid frame. 2 fillable bags hold 20lbs of sand each.
Base alone is great but the umbrella does not fit into the base.
