I live in an apartment whose kitchen floors have only been given a lick and a promise. I hoped that this machine would do the "scrubbing" that I cannot (I am 80 years old). Unfortunately, it was not up to the task, but it is easy to use. I have tried multiple machines and multiple cleaning solutions to no avail. To clean the floor, it needed to be scrubbed square by square by hand. So I spent all day crawling around the floor scrubbing each separate square. All day. However, I am keeping this machine because it is so easy to use and I feel it will now keep my floor in decent shape. Hope I am I right.

We are absolutely loving our Gladwell cordless mop! It charges very quickly and holds its charge for quite a long time! I love how lightweight this mop is...it glides along the floor with ease and without a lot of effort on my part! I also love how it gets right up along the baseboards of my walls! I also love that I can switch out the pads and use the "scrubbier" ones for tough spots like areas in my kitchen! Great feature! I was concerned at first because I have never used a mop like this that doesnt have a spot to hold cleaner. It was a little bit of a learning curve for me at first but now I just spray the pads before use and carry a spray bottle with me to keep the floor damp. Kind of time-consuming but I am sure there is an easier way! I would absolutely recommend this product for anyone looking for a lightweight mop that basically self-propels! Would be great for someone with arthritis or less strength in their hands.

I have bought two of these. I own a heavier model in another brand that cost $159 and of course the more expensive one does a better job. However- this lightweight cheaper model works very nicely for light cleaning. We have shiny hardwood floors that show EVERYTHING! The kitchen and living area get footprint marks by the end of the day, and the kitchen accumulates small drips and spills. I needed a little mop like this to grab and go on daily cleaning. It is not very powerful, but does a nice job for the light jobs. The reason I own two of them is because I love it so much I wanted to make sure I have a "backup" in case the first one goes out. I purchased the extra pads because they do get dirty and I prefer to use a clean pad each time I use it. The pads work better after they have been washed. A little FYI- I would not wash them with towels because they could get lint on them. I wash them on low water then throw them in the dryer and they always come out nicely. I love the fact that it holds a charge through several cleanings and when it does charge it does so within an hour. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone..... as long as you understand that it is not going to handle scuff marks or a super dirty floor. For light cleaning though- it's GREAT!
