I have been using this scale for 2 yeas and I use it at least a dozen times a day. Having lost over 40 pounds and kept it off for a a year, I now know that portion control is the way to do it for me. I weigh everything I eat to determine the proper portion sizes. When I make bread, I weigh the ingredients instead of measure like flour and the recipes turn out wonderfully. This scale is so convenient because you can weigh by ounce or gram. You can also pull the tab out at the bottom if you need to weight the contents of a large bowl. When the display gets goofy and flashes or can't decide on the proper weight, it is time to replace the batteries. Unfortunately, I got in the habit of moving my scale by pulling on the corded display and it has caused it to be a little flaky when measuring it with the display pulled all the way out, so don't do that! I adore this scale and I'm glad I spend the greater amount of money that purchasing this scale required.

The brand OXO is routinely recommended by independent rating groups. The scale is small so it doesn't take much space in the kitchen. I use the scale primarily after grocery shopping trips to portion chicken, fish, and seafood for the freezer. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Love this guy - accurate and easy to use. I've tried a LOT of scales since I use them everyday to portion out my food... this one give the most steady weight and I like that they number display pulls out - its handy.

I have been monitoring my portions based on my healthy eating lifestyle. This scale has worked for me for the past 2 years. I had to order a new one, because one of our children soaked the display and now the screen is not showing the ounce(s) correctly. Overall, this is a great product for a really good price!
