They are by far the very best bolster bed I’ve ever purchased in over 30 years.

Very high quality. Middle padding much nicer snd thicker than I expected. Not thin like other brands. Just ordered second one for smaller crate. Great purchase and value

Everything was fine.

UPDATE: The Faux-Sherpa Padded Bolster is what most people call a “crate pad.” It is a thin floor with puffy sides covered with polyester fleece, designed to fit in a dog crate. The Faux-Sherpa Bolster Pad is NOT a dog bed — these are thick, stuffed pillows for dogs to sleep on.For years, I have had good experiences with Faux-Sherpa Bolster Pads and my dogs have liked them. l have two right now. There is a different, discontinued Amazon pad with a beige bottom — I am not reviewing that, here.WHAT IS THE FAUX-SHERPA BOLSTER PAD GOOD FOR?:1) This pad is good as a crate pad, together with a blanket or towel for the pet’s comfort. The 29 inch pad fits my 28 x 20.5 x 21.5 inch Vari Kennel 200, and it is said to fit the 30 inch Amazon Basics crate, also.2) I put a pad on the floor in the bedroom for my dog to sit while I’m getting ready in the morning. I bring the pad over to friends’ homes who don’t want a dog sitting on their stuff.3) I bring this pad when I am going to sit outside on the porch, a coffee shop, or event where it would be too cold for my hairless whippet to lay on the concrete. Then it goes back into the trunk for next time. The Faux-Sherpa Bolster Pad is an inexpensive Amazon Basics product — when it comes to the end of its natural life, it is cheap enough to throw away and replace.WHAT IS THE FAUX-SHERPA BOLSTER PAD NOT GOOD FOR?:1) The Faux-Sherpa Bolster Pad is not a daily pet bed, it’s a thin crate pad for the applications above and it is less than half the price of a real pet bed. If you want a real pet bed, look at a 24 or 30 inch Amazon Basics Warming Pet Bed or something similar that has a three-inch thick padded floor, and seven-inch padded walls.2) The Faux-Sherpa Bolster Pad is not for sick pets who are incontinent or vomiting — it isn’t built for that. Treat sick dogs' beds just like you would sick human's bedclothes. Get polyester fleeces used in hospitals, or make a pile of old towels that you can wash in hot water every day or as necessary.3) Faux-Sherpa Bolster Pad is not a chew toy. If your dog chews it hard, it will come apart and you will have fiber, fabric, and foam all over the place. If that happens, clean it up quick and don’t let your dog swallow it. Bed-chewing dogs get old towels, tough blankets, and rugs for beds (I’ve been there).BRAND COMPARISONS:The Amazon Basics Faux Sherpa Pad and the Midwest Bolster Pad are similar — here are their differences:DIFFERENCES: Although my Faux-Sherpa Pad (29”x19”) is shorter my Midwest Bolster Pad (30”x21”), they both fit my Vari Kennel 200 just fine. The Faux-Sherpa Bolster Pad is slightly less expensive than the Midwest Bolster Pad. The Midwest Bolster Pad’s cushions are visibly bigger than those on the Faux-Sherpa Bolster Pad, but my dog treats them the same.CONCLUSIONS: I have years of experience with the Faux-Sherpa Pad and I think that both are pretty similar. If things change, I will UPDATE.WASHING: On the Amazon website, both the Faux-Sherpa Pad and the Midwest Bolster Pad claim to survive a washing machine at in Cold water and Gentle cycle and a Drier on Low. When the pad arrives, the Faux-Sherpa Pad tag says it isn’t machine washable. I don’t believe any of these claims without data (do you?) — I machine-washed and dried both pads and they came out OK. Usually, I wash both pads by hand in a big sink using unscented, nonpolluting detergent and hand them on a shower rod to dry — it isn’t that big a deal.If there are stains on either of the beds I disinfect and clean with Biokleen BAC-OUT.“BUT WHAT ABOUT DOG GERMS?Contrary to popular opinion, healthy house-dwelling dogs don’t usually carry contagious germs, especially if they have had their shots. A healthy dog’s blood, and urine are sterile. All dogs should be protected from dog diseases and parasites — get a check-up from your vet, who will tell you if your dog has diseases or parasites, and then keep doggie clear with standard inoculations and by giving heartworm and flea medication every month. Both human and dog poop have natural microorganisms that you don’t want around — take all the precautions you would take with a young child. For the most part, warm water and modern detergent destroy the cell membranes of most germs occurring on both human and dog laundry. Even the COVID recommendations I've seen say to use warm water and detergent. If the pad is stained or soiled, I treat first with disinfectant and Biokleen BAC-OUT Stain + Odor Remover (see my review).RECOMMENDATIONS:My dogs have all liked my Faux-Sherpa Bolster Pads — they fit my 28” Vari Kennel 200 and they have worked well for years in my home. So, if you need a place for your pooch to perch or want to add a pad to blankets in a Petmate Vari Kennel or similar crate, this is a good and inexpensive product to consider. To read more of my reviews or follow me on Amazon, go to my profile by clicking my name.I hope this review has been really helpful for you and your dog. Not a super plushy cushion, but a well made, durable one that washes easily and looks like it will handle a lot of abuse.

My cat took to it immediately. I placed on a table in the window and it has become his favorite spot.

My dog loves his new bed. It’s very soft and comfortable. He just goes to bed when he gets sleepy. Great buy!
Pat
Great product. Amazing price.

The product appears to be well made. However, I tricked myself into buying ones that are too small. NOT Tanga's nor the manufacturer's fault at all .

Received product very soon after I ordered and was a much better product than I imagined! Thank you for your great price and product!
