I really liked that these lights had a 6 hour timer function on them. Worked perfectly with our other Christmas lights. Problem, each light has a separate remote. I turn them on and press set timer. There is no way to know if it worked until the next morning when you find that 1 then 3 were on all night! They take 4 batteries each so that's a lot if they don't turn off. Brightness is good and we enjoy them. Just wish we could manage to get the timer right on all 4.

Thought I'd found a fun treasure (based on the photos). They were underwhelming, at best. Sent 'em back.

While these little lights offer many lighting settings, they require 4 batteries each (which makes them a little heavy), my main complaint is the length of the string they hang from. Had they come in different lengths, it would make for a better decorating product. There’s no way to adjust the hanging length because of the top hook. Returning them as more than one doesn’t work for my needs (hang them in a group). Not sure how they’ll hold up since the wires the lights are on are very thin and will need to be folded back in each time you store them away.

I like the bright display that these devices give, however I have reason to believe that what I received is not a new unused set. Two of the four quit functioning within a week. The first failure seemed to be related to a rubber protector on the selector switch. The second required a battery replacement. In both instances the cases have rusted screws that would indicate exposure the elements.

I have this product outside hanging off of hooks around my house. I get compliments all the time on them and they absolutely give my yard the best ambience. The remote control isn't that great you must walk up to the base to use it. But that's okay the timer works great. Unfortunately the wire comes apart from the actual light ball and it renders it useless if it comes apart.

First off I didn’t get a remote with either of my two orders nor is there a timer. I actually didn’t need another remote in my house so I didn’t care about that. The lights are very easy to put together. They are easy to arrange the light coils. They are very bright and very pretty. However, they only work sometimes. I have them all in very bright, full central Florida sun 8 hours a day. They come on and stay lit until nearly dawn but it’s catch as catch can which ones will work on any given night. So the function is inconsistent. That’s why I say do buy these as they are lovely in the garden but maybe try a different brand.
