It doesn't get cool. Blows just like a regular fan. I added ice with the water. I wouldn't recommend it all.

Ok so first I think I need to set the stage for what I wanted this for. I run extremely hot compared to my family and I often feel murderously hot and has become convinced that this so called family actually hates me and meets at night to plot how to melt me into a puddle. I’m talking heat and a space heater hot. Cruel right? They similarly urge me to seek medical attention for my desire for a crisp 73 degrees in the winter and I had begun to think that maybe I was better off work my fluffy pup who loves air as much as I do. For surely love does not revolve around attempted murder. I’m not even at a fair lady’s age yet and the amount of times I’ve run outside gasping for a cool breeze from the dry sauna they call a home is excessive. Until this bad boy came along. I did not buy it to cool a space, and it’s actually preferred to not cool too far into the blissful heated bubble of the others. I got it to cool me and me alone and man does it do that. I can now sit and watch a movie and sleep with a smile and love the people I call family again. If you’re a woman of that age or just run hot too, BUY THIS! I’m actually about to buy another one so I don’t have to cart it up and downstairs all day. I don’t even freeze the filter every time and am cool as a philly in September. 🙏🏾
