I wasn't sure if I should get the medium or heavy flannel shirt, but since I suspected it'd be on the light side I ordered the heavyweight. It's almost more of a jacket than a shirt, and has front-side pockets like a jacket in addition to thechest patch pocket. None of this is a problem for me, but it's something to be aware of.

I would call this an extra heavy weight flannel shirt. I didn't realize the shirt has 2 pockets to slide your hands into during cold weather. After purchasing one I realized how warm the shirt was and I ordered 2 more shirts. The shirt is very comfortable to wear and fits me very well. I'm very happy with this purchase!
