The helmet is comfortable and it lights up. I have had it for almost a year and the batteries for the lights still are good.
My son is 7 with a normal sized head and it fits perfect. I originally bought for the light up fin, so he could right at night...but it's not really practical. It turns on for about one minute and then turns off automatically. It's a cute option for fun, but not for safety. He does love it just because it's cool looking. Holds up well too.
My son loves the helmet but we didn’t realize the light doesn’t stay on. It automatically shuts off after about 2-3 mins. We wanted it for night time riding around the camp sites. The batteries also can not be replaced
