Lowepro Quality

Good quality as always from Lowepro. Don't like the flap action as it seems to be unnecessary. Mesh side pockets are too small to be of any use. It's very small size dictates that you won't be able to get much inside.

Just what I needed

Not tested in terms of waterproofing so can't comment on that feature otherwise very happy. Just what I wanted for my Olympus PEN 7. Good fit with the standard 14-42 pancake lens. Even managed to fit the charger and plug in which was "snug" to say the least but this was a bonus as it was only bought for the camera and lens.

Lightweight!

Very lightweight, good for travelling when you only need the camera+lens and might want to place this inside a bigger bag. A bit on the smaller side, it barely fits my Fuji Xt30 with 18-55 lens and a small strap. Zipper gets caught on the inner lining a bit but it's not a big issue. Good value for money.

Good bag

Good bag. Smaller than I expected but will take a bridge camera and a flashgun. Carrying strap no longer includes the padded support that featured on earlier types, just a basic strap. The pullout rain protection isn't featured either. So some evidence of feature/cost reduction.

Good practical camera bag, not too big for travelling, but plenty of room.

I've been looking for a good camera bag which gave a compromise of good space for a DSLR and extra lens plus bits and pieces like SD cards etc. This is overall quite well made but there is one part of the bag design which prevents me giving it 5 stars. The shoulder strap/swivel joints to the bag are made of plastic and do not appear that robust. They also have quite flimsy plastic release hooks which are quite easy to remove without much force. When you are relying on a bag to protect very expensive equipment from being dropped/lost I would have liked to have seen secure metal swivel joints securing the shoulder band in place instead.

Compact Bag

My Lumix GX9 just about fits in this bag. I wish I had ordered the next size up. If using a micro three-thirds camera with anything other than the standard lens. It would probably not fit in this bag. Well made and does the job but little room for any extras you might want to carry around.

Excellent quality but not very big!

I recently bought this bag to hold my new Canon 80D and 18-55 lens. It arrived in great time and I have to say the quality of the product is excellent. From the rigid base to the zips and the comfort of the shoulder strap I feel it is an excellently made bag. I brought it on its first major outing on a trip to Europe and it held up brilliantly. It wasn't heavy at all and I feel like it offered good protection for the camera with ease of access to get it out when needed. The only thing I will say, and it's not the fault of the bag but.. I wish it was bigger. Don't get me wrong, this is a great bag to hold a camera, lens and charger for the beginner but it will hold very little more. I only bought it as a beginner to DSLR photography but I already find myself thinking I'll be buying a bigger bag in the not too distant future. When going to Europe I packed my camera, lens, Canon charger, European adapter and a Hoya filter.. The bag may have taken another lens such as a 24-70, or 50mm prime but that's as much as I'd feel comfortable putting in it. Over all the quality is excellent and it is the right size for travelling but if you need to hold anything beyond basic introductory gear then look elsewhere.

Good but flawed

I always buy Lowepro camera bags! In my opinion nothing is as well made or though-out. The Sony bag I bought at the same time as the CX405 camcorder is only big enough for the camera with no accessories other than maybe a smart card. This bag has the ability to contain (just) the mains charger plug and cable and the USB media cable. The only gripe I have is that the zip for the main pocket is at the back making it difficult to access when wearing the bag, made more so because the strap interferes with it as well.

Well made camera bag

I bought this Lowepro bag to protect and carry a new Canon compact. Well made bag offering the customary Lowepro high standard of protection. However, I don't think this wee bag will be great in moderate to heavy rain. There is no rain cover provided and the position of the zipper around the top and front of the bag is bound to be a route for damp. That said, I'm happy with my purchase. If it rains heavy I will put this in a rucsac or plastic bag. Not much interested in taking a lot of photos in the rain anyway. All in all, I would recommend this bag and look forward to many years of use.

Excellent bag with useful features!!

I bought this bag after the Canon bag I purchased was too small. This bag has an array of useful features such as a front pocket, elastic pouches, interior zip pocket and SD card holder and interior dividers. The bottom of the bag is also covered in a robust rubber grip which adds extra protection. My camera is a Canon EOS 750D with an 18-135mm lens and it fits snugly. There is just enough room for the battery charger block to be kept inside with the camera. An extra lens does not fit with my camera however this is not a problem for me. My only criticism is that the shoulder strap is a little cheap and could do with a padded area.
