The currently available "regular" 505 jeans are really new "stretch pants". They are not the same as original 505 with the same fabric as original 501's. I love original 501's fabric, color and texture, but prefer the zipper over buttons. I sent them back and bought original 501's and will live with the buttons. What a shame they dropped the good old 505's. .

I was disappointed when I received my Levi 505's. No where on the webpage description did it state that these were a stretch jean. The fabric is much thinner than the traditional Levi denim that I expected. Descriptions need to be much more detailed on the web page so I can order the traditional Levi's that I want.
