I purchased this coffeemaker after a previous single serving coffeemaker failed at the 6 year mark. Unfortunately, the unit I received would not operate properly. Although the lid on the coffeemaker (over the area where the coffee k-cup is inserted) would click closed, the maker would not register it as closed. Accordingly, the machine would not move to the stage where it would brew coffee. I returned the unit as it failed to brew coffee.

Made 4 cups of coffee and they were great. Flavor, strength, convenience all good. We thought we found the coffee maker for our weekend retreat. Next weekend, made 3 more delicious cups of coffee. The 4th cup blew a hole in the pod. Coffee grounds everywhere. Fluke? Made 2 more cups and 2 more blown pods. Taking it back for a refund.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this coffee maker and excited that there was virtually no setup. I unboxed it, plugged it in, added water and a coffee pod, but the "Brew/Cancel" button remained flashing and did nothing when pushed. I tried doing things in a different order - the instructions say to add water then plug it in, then add the pod, which seems weird, but that didn't work either. I have unplugged and restarted about 10 times and I'm still not able to brew a cup of coffee. I'm super disappointed. I think I received a defective product.

Used for 3 days now won't work

In 9 attempts, it produced a solitary cup of coffee without the piercing pin getting plugged with grounds, causing the pressure to build and the foil top of the pod to burst, spewing hot steam and coffee grounds all over the inside of the machine (and you, if you try to open it before unplugging and giving ample time to cool down). The fact that you cannot find this model on the Cuisinart official site should tell you something.

It was defective. Followed directions exactly. Stopped working. Returned it.

We were extremely unhappy with this coffee maker. The steam seeped out the top of the machine, so the coffee cooled off immediately. Since there was no water reservoir, to make one full mug we had to fill the water twice. It was not the usual Cuisinart standard. We returned it, and will not buy another Cuisinart coffee maker. Went back to Kuerig.

It does not work correctly. It will be full of water with coffee placed inside and it will still blink. I waste so much water and coffee because I have to do it over and over again before it actually brews the coffee.

Just after 2.5 months this coffee maker is not popping the k cups right it’s smashing them and the water pours out everywhere and it’s a mess grounds everywhere

I liked the smaller size and the option for different cup sizes as well. Easy to use and clean. What I didn't like is that it didn't get the water hot enough for a good brew. Any type of pod containing powder would not dissolve all the way, EVER. I had to return it after a few weeks of daily frustration.
