I have been a Keurig coffee maker user for years and had become tired of the same ole' grounds, breakdown, and intense maintenance. The Cuisinart SoHo is sleek, easy, and no drama. it's perfect- the way making a cup of coffee should be.

Comparing my new Cuisinart coffee maker to my old Keurig I have to say I like the Keurig function better. My Cuisinart feels cheaper made for the money spent. The coffee also has a more metallic taste. Don’t think I’d purchase another one

The only pro to this coffee maker is that it makes a good cup of hot coffee. The cons are it is very loud. I also have a Nespresso and a L'or coffee makers. This Cuisinart is louder than both. It sounds like a screaming banchee. Second con is it does not turn off for over 30 minutes after you brew your last cup. I wonder if that is Cuisinarts way to force you to unplug the unit after use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are the type who drinks smaller cups of coffee, this is perfect for you! I do really like how in the water reservoir, there's measuring lines to help guide you. I do also like how easy it is to operate, even can do it one handed if need be. The adjustable drip tray could be useful if you have a very short cup. I also really appreciate how compact it is, & how the cord can be wound into the component - pretty neat! However, for those who use a regular sized to-go thermos, this is far too short. I have to either dirty a clean cup and transfer it to my thermos, or I have to stand there, holding it at an angle. That's inconvenient to me. So while I understand the appeal for this machine, it's just not it for me personally.

This is a very basic, no frills single serve coffee machine. There’s no on/off switch. It must be plugged and unplugged with every use. The cord is to short. When you close the top with the coffee pod inside you must be gentle or the top will tear and you’ll end up with grounds is your cup.

To fiddley! I don’t use the “k” cups and I had to purchase a kcup holder for the coffeemaker. No notice on the box about that. Booo. Not nice

Only holds enough water for 1 cup of coffee. You need to fill it for each use so you need to be next to a sink. I did not realize this from both description and photos. Just be aware of this. I returned because I wanted a unit that holds water for several cups. Too expensive for its’ lack of features.

Design is beautiful. Simplicity of it is great. But it doesn’t work for me I’ll add pictures but it just explodes and gets coffee bits everywhere.
