I really like this. My 2-in-1 Lenovo Yoga tends to overheat in the laptop position after a short while, so I figured the cooler would be a good thing to have on a lapdesk. What I found is that even though the fan works great, just having it tilted gives the bottom of the laptop enough ventilation to prevent any issues. Not to mention having it tilted puts it at a much better angle. The tabs that fold up prevent the laptop from sliding too far toward you, and aren't so high as to obstruct my view when using my 2-in-1 in the tablet position. The mouse area is similar to a mousepad, and comfy on your wrist. I like that I can tilt the laptop but the mouse area stays flat. Having 2 heights for the legs is great, and the small storage compartment is great for storing pens, the USB cable, etc. The USB ports, fan, and light are just bonuses on an already great lapdesk. And you can fold everything flat when not in use. Great quality and function.

I highly recommend this if you are sure you want a lap-desk but can't decide which one to get. Just be mindful of the surface it is sitting on since an uneven foundation (like a soft bed or couch) might cause the desk to lean and let the mouse, pen, etc. slide off and disappear into the abyss between the sofa cushions. My sofa has enough space to allow me to sit this table beside me so I don't have to move it every time I want to get up (dropping everything on it), so it doubles as an on-site coffee table. In which case, I would recommend covering the surface of the desk when placing food/ drinks since the air vents (that allow laptops to cool) might collect debris and turn into a chore later. Anyway, I use this daily and haven't run into any problems (or regrets) since it adjusts to fit your needs at the moment; making it perfect for my lifestyle and my small apartment!

I love this little desk. It solves a bunch of annoying problems associated with working in bed, in a chair, or wherever, all in one sturdy little package: Problem: >>> Laptop gets too hot. Uncomfortable on my legs and shuts off. ---> Nice little USB fan cools it off! >>> Can't see the keyboard in a dark room. ----> Cute little USB LED light! Arm adjusts for perfect illumination! >>> Working on my lap puts the keyboard at a weird angle ---> This little desk is at the perfect height for comfortable use! >>> I can't use my favorite mouse if I'm not at my desk., ---> No problem, Mr. iMounTEK has a perfect little area for the mouse! >>> I can't carry my big wooden desk around in the car. ---> That's okay! This thing has folding legs and is lightweight! >>> Sometimes I want to work at a weird angle! ---> Great! the desk has an angle adjustment feature! That's basically it! It's well worth the money.

I am impressed with this laptop table! I was only looking for a cooling pad but this seems much more practical and for the same price. The table has 2 easily adjustable heights so I am able to comfortably use it on the couch, in bed, sitting on the ground, or even on top of my desk to use while standing up. There is storage under the mousepad and also under the laptop pad to hold cords, pens, and the wireless mouse. If you have a large laptop this might not be the one for you though, as my small 15" laptop is overhanging onto the mousepad. Most importantly, the fan seems like it will efficiently keep my laptop cool and since the stand flips up like an easel there is plenty of airflow underneath. The light is an added bonus! I received my shipment within 3 days. I just received this table today but I am already finding it to be very useful!

I have wide hips and thighs. This one did not fit comfortably over them and then the height didn't adjust as much as I needed it to. I did like the mouse surface and everything else.

The laptop table is a great concept, and this product does a good job of removing computer pressure and heat from my legs. This allows me to work much more comfortably on my reclining couch for several hours a day. The table easily supports my 15 inch PC, albeit with a slight overhang over the mouse pad portion of the table (a small point as this does not interfere with mouse navigation). My 4 star rating is based on a few design limitations, in order of importance : 1. The tabs which hold the PC in place are flimsy and not high enough. As a result, when moving the table the PC often slides off the platform if I'm not careful. 2. It would be great if a smooth or rubberized surface could be placed on the bottom of the legs so that the table doesn't leave marks on the couch. 3. I use the table at the lowest position (about 10 inches). An option to lower it a couple of more inches would be preferable. 4. If the mouse pad is inclined, the mouse easily slides off the platform. Some kind of stopping device would be appreciated. 5. Sometimes my mouse stops working when attached to the table's USB ports and I have to switch to my computer's USB ports. Not sure why this is the case and it's only a minor distraction.

So far this has worked great for me. The four stars is due to how hard it is to open the adjustable tray with the fan. The fan works great and I love how many different angles I can adjust it to. I am unable to open the tray for the mouse at all. I have to get my fiance to open for me if I accidentally close it. The legs are very sturdy and do not move easily, so I am not worried about them collapsing on me. I have only used the light a handful of times and it has worked great as well. Overall, I love it and I have recommended it to my friend.

This is a great little desk but would have been so much better if the side for the computer could have been centered more. When I am sitting in my recliner the computer is off to the left and is a little uncomfortable. I will center my computer then I don't have enough room for my mouse. So my mouse ends up on my chair arm.

All in all, I wouldn't mind getting this again if needed if some of the design flaws were addressed with this tray. My biggest complaint about this, and the whole reason I am writing this review, is this did not come with a USB cable to plug the stand/tray into my laptop and power the tray. I fortunately had a spare cable that fit the plug (not sure what type it is, but it matches the Wii U charging cable). Another complaint, though this one much minor than above, is there is no baffle, tray, or whatever to prevent your mouse from sliding off the mouse pad area. This means if you are using the tilt of the mouse pad and let go of the mouse in order to type, much like I am now for this review, the mouse will slide off the pad. Last complaint is that the baffles for your laptop to rest against are not very tall and my laptop has already slid above them and landed on my lap. The bottom of my laptop is a bit rounded, but come on! The baffles have one job to do.

EDIT: After having this desk for about 2 months now, the fan function has stopped working. It only works intermittently after having to adjust the wire a certain angle. I've been using this product every so often and there shouldn't be any reason why it is doing this. I bought this product JUST for the fan so as to prevent my laptop from overheating. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now that I've had this desk for a couple weeks, I've had a chance to use it. I would have given it a five star rating but there was a factor that I just couldn't ignore. First of all, when I received this desk, the light part of the desk was visibly broken (straight out of the box), so that was a major part of why I gave this product a three star rating. Every product should strive to have a unifying look and characteristics of a strong finish but this product came with a defect so that brought it down all the way to a 3/5. Although batteries were not included, they were easy to install which is another plus as I have seen some where the batteries are hard to install due to some screw that needs to be taken out. Other than that, I really loved using this desk, it has two settings to adjust its legs and the fan is just icing on the cake. I really liked the fact that I could put some stuff in the desk and didn't really expect to use it all that much but I have put some items in it. The whole reason I got it was because of the fan and light aspects. The fan exceeded my expectations and also included some extra USB ports. Unfortunately, I was really looking forward to the light aspect as well but looking at that disfigured portion was really a downer.
