Landladies grandson loves them even though they came 3 days after Easter. If you rely close them tightly an adult has to pry open but little ones don't seem to be able to snap tight.

They are hard to pull apart. I bought these for my 2.5 yr old nephew and he couldn't really get them apart, or snap them together.
