I really like this movie. It has a lot of action and gives you a plot to think about. The caretaker of the baby alien cared for him in a pet like sense. The time when the alien didn't respond, he prodded it. I felt that the alien thought he was being attacked and responded as such. My friend says regardless, the alien as it grew would have attacked anyway because that was it's nature.
