[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several irons over the years ranging from the very cheap to very expensive. This Sunbeam iron exceeded my expectations! With a comfortable handle and design, a perfect push button for retractable cord, and a wide sturdy base to prevent tipping, this is my new favorite. I love the trigger under the handle for steam - in addition to the push button on top. Dial is easy to turn. Pour hole for adding water is actually large enough and angled well to avoid spilling. Great iron, highly recommend.

It didn't take much to get the wrinkles out of the clothes. I highly, highly recommend it to those who like to iron and want it done correctly.

The Sunbeam 1700W retractable cord iron has been great to use these past few weeks. It feels nice in your hand like there is a little weight to it but it's not heavy or hard to iron with. The grip is comfortable, it heats up quickly and does a great job at getting wrinkles out. I really like the retractable cord because when I'm done the cord is nicely put away. It's a great iron.

The roundness makes it easier to not tip over and almost feels weighted. Gives it a good balance. The retractable cord is definitely a life savor.
