This is our second crafting component kit, and I absolutely love them. This kit has everything a young child could need to create almost anything, and it is perfect for those "take home and decorate with your family" assignments our elementary school seems to love.I already had a crafting cupboard for the kids stocked with paint, papers, buttons, scrap fabric, etc., but this was still a great way to introduce new elements (the wooden figures and felt squares) and replenish others (feathers and pompoms go quickly in our house). For those who don't yet have a crafting cupboard, this is a great way to see what things your children like before stocking it.Both my 8-year-old and 5-year old have started projects without guidance from me (see my oldest's kitty and monster bookmarks and wooden figurine). I'm incredibly pleased with the kit in both the design and its ability to coax my kids away from the tv and be creative without my nagging.

This is an enormous art set for kids who love to be creative! It literally has everything you need to keep your crafty kids entertained for hours! Durable storage box to boot! I love this set and so do my kids! It’s probably the best one we’ve ever had - and we have a LOT! I personally love the wooden beads that are included - I haven’t found any other sets that have those!

This craft set is above and beyond! Other craft sets only come in plastic bags without the organizer box. Most don't come assorted or any felt, wood pieces and beads, string, etc. While they will have pipe cleaners and popsicle sticks, they don't have the variety and shapes that this set offers. On board scissors in this set is better than others, too. Depending on what you decide to make, you'll likely need stronger glue, like hot glue, wood glue, rubber cement, etc. The school and glitter glues included won't work for certain applications.I like that this makes it easy for me to just be able to buy a set, instead of looking for everything individually. Wish it came with some yarn, too!If you're getting your first set, I recommend this one. You can buy the cheaper sets to replenish the box as your children use up the supplies.

This is the perfect set up for making craft supplies. I put a ton of pictures with this post so you can see it all. Three different kinds of pipe cleaners. There is so much in this set. Buttons, google eyes, scissors, two sewing needles, thread, glue, glitter flue, wood rods, fuzzy balls, and more. I was amazed how much was packed into the "vault.Highly recommend. You will find that your kids will have tons of supplies. This is a good set that will add to any craft room. My kids are ages four and six and we were very pleased with everything that we got.

My daughter-in-law has some reservations about this set: if she were evaluating it by how annoying it is to find squiggly eyes and sticky jewels in random spots in the house, then this would be rated much lower. But that's her issue. For my grandson, it was loads of creative fun with an impressive variety of objects (feathers, pipe cleaners & popsicle sticks of various sizes and shapes and colors, beads, jewels, felt strips, squiggly eyes, etc)! He made pipe cleaner bracelets for all the kids in his play pod and had a grand time doing so. For now his mom stuck the two "drawers" that all the craft items came in someplace high, having learned her lesson quickly about leaving it unattended and in easy reach, but she is thinking that she'll have to devise a better storage system somehow and soon.
