My favorite hot tool. Silicone brushes themselves don’t get hot… just the barrel. Perfect for fine hair. Ordered a second one for a spare. Doesn’t have features for auto shut off though. Heats up in about 30 seconds.

I love this heated curling iron with silicone brush! Here are a few of the reasons why.1. The soft silicone bristles helps to firmly hold my hair to the heated shaft.2. The silicone decrease my risk for burns as the silicone bristles offer some protection from the metal.3. It decreases the time it takes to curl my hair as I use the brush on the iron to comb through my hair from root to tip, then curl.4. It leaves my hair with soft, shiny, smooth hair with waves and soft curls.5. The silicone is flexible and soft, not hard as with some curling irons with brushes. Some important points - you want to brush your hair from root to shaft then immediately curl wand towards the scalp. Do not try to grab or add additional strands of hair beyond those that you have kept from the brushing from root to tip as this will likely create a tangle with the hair and wand that will be difficult and painful to untangle. (For instance, after you section a piece of hair, place the wand close to the head or mid-shift and comb the hair with the silicone bristles to the tip, and then curl. When you do this, some shorter hairs will fall down and off the rod. Do not pick up these hairs and add to iron. Just do those pieces separately.) Be aware, if you are used to traditional curling irons, the curls from this product are not as defined as those with the metal curling irons. However, I really love the more natural softer curl (as opposed to the Shirley Temple type curls) and find it complements the look I am going for. Very straight hair does not at all complement my age (42) or face shape but soft volume is nice. Also, this item is not a dryer/curler/brush. It does not take the place of a hair dryer and you will need to allow your hair to air dry post wash or use a separate hair dryer prior to curling or styling with this wand. The Revlon Pro Collection Heated Curling Iron with Silicone Brush leaves the overall hairdo with more uniform body, bounce, and shine. I very much enjoy the results achieved from this product and find it works well post wash and blow dry, and even better the day after the hair is washed when there is still some prior styling product left in the hair. Give it a try. I think you'll love it too.

I have very fine hair. Regular curling irons will not grip my hair. This product grips well but doesn't get tangled. I wish it had automatic off but other than that I am very pleased with it. So much so that I have ordered a second one.

This is my second purchase of this styling brush. I bought several years ago. It is now time for a replacement. Was so excited to find it on Amazon. The bristles are soft and hold the hair well. I like the smooth curl it gives my hair. Easy to hold with my hands-I have some arithitis. Doesn't burn hair, but it can get hot. My hair doesn't appear to get damaged. Plus when I get my hair cut the stylist always remarks how healthy my hair appears.

I agree with another buyer this would work great on shorter hair. Mine is shoulder length and I can still use it for styling mine. It leaves hair with a nice shine when you pull it through from scalp to ends. Glas I purchased as I expect I will find a lot of uses.

I have several heated brushes and this is my favorite hair styling device because of the silicone teeth. The brush heats up nicely (the low setting doesn't do much for my hair except smooth it which is okay, but I need volume). The high heat setting works great for me; I push the brush against my roots to give me height/volume & hold it there for a few seconds; I then roll my hair from the ends to the root ..... hold to a count of 10, unroll the brush carefully and use my finger to set the curl at the ends of my hair once they're released from the brush. I let my curls cool while I put my make up on. I lightly spray my hair before finger-combing my curls out. I then use a curved hair pick comb to lift and smooth out my hair. I'm a senior citizen and have thinning, chin length strawberry blonde hair; this heated brush has given me volume and lift like no other hair device I have. For me, the silicone teeth don't tug or pull out my hair; the silicone teeth don't hurt my scalp and helps protect my scalp from the heat better than the heated brush with plastic teeth. I recommend this heated brush; give it a try and use it several times ...... experiment & play with it and you'll see how great it is.

I like this better than regular curling irons because it’s easy to use and I don’t burn myself. The pink silicone brush doesn’t get tangled in my hair. It’s fast and provides consistent results.
