I own many different sizes of Call*sta irons or heated round brushes but this is my favorite! I have very fine, silky, stick straight hair and let me just say the silicone bristles make all the difference! They grip but don't pull hair and with the ability to cup my hair around the shaft with no burning is fantastic! If you've got slick straight hair I highly recommend giving this a try. I'd estimate if your hair is short, pixie short this might be too large, I can't remember the barrel size. The curls and wave I get are just as good as my high end brand and my hair is just as soft, shiny and curled to my desired style. My shortest layers are around 2 1/2" and this works well. I'd say it's a perfect medium size wise. My hair at it's longest is just at the base of my neck not shoulder length growing out from a pixie. I find I prefer the high setting even though it's recommend my hair type use low. It's a great AFFORDABLE IRON I highly recommend!

Great for short hair. Silicon bristles gently grab hair at crown and back for volume without a clamp or holding hair with hands. On the sides, I twirl hair in the brush iron to give a gentle curl and grab ends with fingers to set curl in desired direction. Silicon brush gives a smooth soft curl without the gel “set” look of a round curling iron. Some mornings, I wake with my hair flipping straight out at sides. The silicon brush iron is my go-to morning routine to comb out and tame curls to a soft balanced look in minutes. I bought a mini brush iron for traveling. But when I tried it out, my hair got tangled in the hard nylon bristles - Oww! I’d rather forgoe the mini and travel with my Revlon brush iron with the comfortable silicon bristles. I have taken this dual-voltage iron to France and Italy with ease. Great tool – Bravo Revlon!

I have short hair so it works great.

I use this on my mom who has a short hairstyle. It works great in place of a curling iron.

Quick heating; easy on hair; leaves, natural and smooth curls. Fun to try using it differently.

Very safe to use because the silicone bristles ensure that you will not burn your forehead or ears.

I previously owned the Calista, which I paid over 100 for, it finally became unusable due to many broken bristles, so after carefully looking, I decided on this one, love it way better than the calista and if all the bristles fall out , it’s cheap enough to buy it again!
