Little different than most mattress pads or waterproof covers..the fitted waterproof cover goes on the mattress and the pad hooks to it, this is removable for washing..of course the pad doesn't have waterproof covering over it for stain protection etc..not sure if I like this or not
Nice thick top pad- we can't feel the seams of our mattress through it. It is very comfortable to sleep on. Fits our standard queen mattress and stays put. I was a little concerned when I saw the top pad secures to the mattress cover via Velcro tabs, however, it hasn't budged after several nights sleeping on it. I like being able to pull the top pad off and wash it easily. I think this mattress pad will work well for us- we are restless sleepers and I think I finally found a mattress pad that stays put!
I purchased two full size for daughters beds. Girls sleep well with them on. The top layer velcros off to wash easily if necessary.
My niece is away at college and I sent this to her and she loves it.
