I can't say about the battery life. As for tech support because, I have not had to use it yet. But the tile works so far.

Doesnt always work within 200 feet

I have attacked to.my wallet and it is a good send AT HOME. I use it every other day to find my wallet before going out, but outside can't hear ring unless your really really close.
