As before, the Tile Mate is a silly simple solution to the age old 'where are my keys?' conundrum. Keep losing things that you can attach a Tile to? Buy a Tile, zap the Q-Code or just search for Tile in your app store and then it's even more downhill. With the app installed and an account setup you can selected Add a Tile which then shows you exactly what needs to be done via a video graphic. It really is as easy as it can get. The most complex thing is giving the app permissions to use your phone's sensors. Yes is the answer. And if possible, allow all the time. Away from installing, the Tile is still a neat little square that'll attach to a keyring. Two way comms, either ping the Tile from the app (Tile makes a noise) or ping the phone from the Tile. You can attach multiple phones to a Tile too. That's the core function of the product but now there are Premium functions too that are chargeable. £2.99/month for a yearly battery, full warranty, location history and Smart alerts that as far as I can tell are just a ping if you leave the house without your keys. Is it worth it? In most cases probably not. One use for me would be that since going electric and having a keyless car, I have found myself leaving the house without house keys (and ended up sat outside for an hour!) so this would have prevented that. All in all, a simple but brilliant product that works well. I wish there was one that can clip to glasses so that I don't keep hearing 'Where are my glasses!?!' or more like 'Where have you put my glasses!!??'

I ordered Tile Mate to connect to my car keys as I have had many stressful morning looking for my Keys. Arrived nicely packaged inside small box. I'm really struggling to understand why this product has had so many negative reviews. I can only think they are not connecting to quality I phones. With my I Phone I connected to Tile mate straight away using Bluetooth and it has never failed me since. Works perfectly every time I have need it, no more panicking looking for keys. I just use App to ring my Tile finder, I am more use to this high pitch ring than I am my own phone. Does only work if Keys are in the house, but has told me I have left keys in car when it told me place they were last connected. Great value for money, never late again looking for keys. Worth it alone just for less stress, i don't even worry where I leave my keys anymore 😂😂. Overall, works so well even exceeded my expectations. Good value for money. I would recommend this product.

Tile is a perfect solution in a home brimming with a younger/teenage/senior age brood. Often times they use the car and then misplace the keys - I've already lost my spare "key" for my keyless ignition car. Ofcourse none of the kids wants to admit blame. Having Tiles has all but alleviated the issue of lost keys. Fixing one to each set of home and car keys ensures we can be pinged to its whereabouts when they're misplaced. ▪︎ What we like: We can ping the Tile from multiple phones, as the app can be downloaded to all the smart home in our home, and consequently, all the phones can connect to a single Tile. Thanks to 'two-way-communication', we can also ping the phones from the Tile too - which allows us to find a missing phone even though it doesnt have it's own Tile attached to it. ▪︎ The New Smart Alerts: The new 2022 version has a new addition: 'Smart Alerts' - this means that each Tile you have can communicate with each other and alert you if for example, you leave an area with less Tiles than you started with. For example, if you went to petrol station and had your keys, your phone and your wallet with you - all with their own Tile, and you happen to leave the area missing your wallet, you would be alerted by Tile that you no longer have your wallet. There are other benefits to signing up to the optional Smart Alerts, for which there is an annual fee that amounts to about £3 per month, such as replacement battery, location history and full warranty. This is a very good idea for individuals that are young and have a lot going on, or for those that are elderly and occasionally forgetful, or for parents like me who often have items being misplaced by children that are growing up too quickly. The melody is also nice and loud, leaving no doubt that it is coming from the missing Tile.
