I found the Volume on this product abysmal. It kept telling me it was out of range even when Tile was side by side with my phone. It seemed incapable of retaining the settings as selected. All in all this product was a total disappointment. Having said all that the young lady at their customer support tried to be very helpful but it was beyond her also. I would definitely not recommend this item.

I recently purchased the tile as children always move keys and phone or failing that keys and phone end up in the back of sofa. The app on phone tends to find tile after a long time and generally when I am on top on keys. When you double tap the tile to find phone this very poor as only plays sound once I have actually found the phone and logged into tile app which defeats the purpose of the finding/locating part.

I purchased this to put on the cats collar. It is small enough and looked really smart. Could never find the cat, I was constantly walking around the neighbourhood holding my phone like an idiot. The map always shown the cat to be in the middle of the road outside our house. Gave up using it as a pet finder, so I placed it on my key ring. As someone has already shown in a video on here cannot find the keys when they are side by side. The technology is not quite there at the moment. The old key finders you whistle at are far better and cheaper than these.

The media could not be loaded. I don’t understand how this product has so many positive reviews either I am extremely unlucky and have received a one in a million defective product, or no one else has actually tested finding their tile when lost. This ‘tracker’ claims to have a 60m range, I am assuming they claim this based on how far you can throw one when enraged at how useless it is. I bought this as a way to track my cats collar since he is so fond of losing them, given his relatively small range of territory, I figured a 60m range would be sufficient to find said collar with a only a small amount of searching necessary. What I hadn’t accounted for, was the Tiles inability to find itself when 2 inches from my phone. The collar has been lost 3 times since purchasing this, on the first occasion after doing a lap of my town, it finally pinged, 5m from my front door where I had started the search. The second time, it took so long to connect (when it was in range) that I found the collar myself before I could utilise the absolutely worthless ‘ping’ functionality. And on the third time, despite showing itself within range, it has failed to ping completely, and has been impossible to find. I will also note that the companion app for this product is almost unusable, bordering on broken. I have attached a video showing the infuriating process involved in trying to find your tile. Note: the video is of the unsuccessful attempt to find the tile, which has proven impossible to locate despite the app claiming to have found it multiple times.

I really wanted this product to work because the idea of having a gadget that could provide some help if car keys were lost really appealed. Went through the app download and initial set-up process which was reasonably straightforward but found the actual performance of the Tile product to be very erratic. Sometimes it worked, other times it worked after an extended delay and other times it did not work at all. This was despite the fact that all of the tests I did on it were not more than a radius of 5 - 10 metres within my house. Consequently, this product inspired absolutely no confidence that it would find my car keys in a real life keys lost emergency. Not recommended.

I purchased a tile for my cat as she disappears and I worry. I suspect she ventures into a neighbours house so just wanted to ease my concerns when she disappears for awhile. When setting up the tile I selected the 'Pet, option instead of keys etc. So had high hopes the tile would be useful at that point, as wasn't to sure it would work beforehand. I soon realised it was a waist of money (for what I was using it for anyway). It just doesn't work well. As soon as the cat goes out of the house it loses signal, if i'm upsatairs and the cat is downstairs it can't find her. I've even been sat next to her and it hasn't been able to find her, utterly disappointed. It does find her sometimes but more often than not it doesn't (if she's in the house) and when it does connect the i'm able to trigger the alarm on it (but I did put it on silent) :( on a plus side, its not too big and doesn't bother her. Not that its any help.

Non seulement le système de localisation est nul, mais c'est la même chose avec le système de recherche avec les cercles verts qui indiquent si on se rapproche ou pas de ses clefs. En effet, les cercles sont au maximum alors que je suis encore à 3 mètres de mes clefs, aucune direction n'est indiquée, cela indique cela le rayon dans lequel elles se situent avec le Tile. La sonnerie est très faible, on l'entend moyennement. Le pire est que certaines fonctionnalités sont payantes chaque année, comme par exemple si l'on veut être averti lorsqu'on est trop loin de ses clefs, alors que c'est la fonctionnalité la plus demandée et c'est sur celle-ci que la pub vidéo est conçue. En conclusion, je renvoie illico ce produit absolument inutile et pas fiable du tout, qui se déconnecte en plus sans arrêt. J'utilise un iphone XS dont le bluetooth est top. La portée indiquée de 60m est mensongère, cela ne fonctionne pas à plus de 3 mètres à travers les murs de la maison. Très déçu, surtout vu le prix payé. Un modèle bas de gamme à 5 euros fait mieux.

I owned one of these years ago qnd it was rubbish.. so i thought surely by now they have fixed all the bugs... Nope 9 times out of 10 it doesn't ring. I can have my keys in one hand my phone in the other and nothing... This isn't a Bluetooth problem with my phone as it works fine with everything else, add to that this is the same as i experienced years ago with a different phone its obvious theses things are just flawed and not fit for purpose

I got a Tile Mate to put on my kitten's collar so I could find him around the house as he likes to hide in small places. It was purported to be the original & best tracking device. My *GOD*, what a waste. You have to have both Bluetooth AND location on, which is an unnecessary battery drain. The thing is utter $#!te. Maybe it was just the bad one in a batch, but I only got the app to connect with it on a few occasions and the battery lasted a matter of DAYS... The app would constantly tell me the stupid thing wasn't in range; and it's not at ALL intuitive. I've had my Tile since May and have managed to get it to ring maybe 3 out of the 10s of times I've tested it. As I said, the battery seems to last a matter of *days*, nowhere *near* the 12 stated months. AND you need a costly subscription. All for what? A device that fails to satisfy the requirements on any level. I don't get AT ALL how the stupid thing has 40,000 people who gave it 4 or more stars, but if I could've given zero stars, I would have done so. I'm so p!$$€d off it's unreal. AN *UTTER* WASTE OF TIME & MONEY. I've just ordered a Cipolo instead. This apparently does just what I require and it DOESN'T require GPS to be turned on or a pointless subscription. Fingers crossed...

I was staggered after trying cheaper key finders off eBay to discover that this is incredibly cheap and nasty as well despite the price. The finding your keys feature via Alexa does not work as is well documented online yet tile appear to have no interest in sorting this out. The reciprocal feature of finding your phone from your key finder find it is extremely fiddly, so much so as to be virtually useless. Why they didn’t make it such that when you press your key find it again your phone stops making this noise is beyond me; you have to go into the extremely specific alert to make it stop making a noise, if this fails to work I have no idea how you make your phone stop making that noise. I have barely used this key finder because of the non-functioning Alexa and will probably chuck it away at some point, it’s just carrying a dead weight around on my keys.
