Probably should have gone with a more expensive model... half way through the project the height adjuster failed, its either a max cut or a very carefully placed/held reduced cut... I ended up having to take it apart and replacing a broken bolt... works fine now...

Overall, great tool for price! I've already used my new saw on a couple jobs, and it has performed well. The 10' long cord is convenient, and allows for extra maneuverability when making long cuts. I do wish it would have came with a case though. The only real complaint I have in regards to the design of the saw itself is the blade guard is a little flimsy. When I picked up my new saw the other day, I noticed the blade guard was pushed over against the blade. I just figured it must have got jostled around inside my job box a bit. I'm lucky I noticed it before I attempted to run the sae. Because, the guard wasn't just against the side of the blade, but one of the carbide tips had really managed to get hung up. To where I couldn't even turn the blade by hand. Fortunately, once I freed the carbide tip and due to the guard being made of such thin material, I successfully straightened the guard out by hand. As I said before... Overall, it was really the most affordable circular saw, with the laser feature, I was able to come across. I would recommend this tool to anyone needing to adhere to a tight budget when shopping for a new corded circular saw.
