Description
A low profile, high performance rug pad with strong gripping power, recommended for preventing rugs from slipping in high traffic areas. Thin Lock combines a thin layer of felt with a rubber backing. A coarse felt upper layer is designed to grab and hold the bottom of your rug to prevent rug bunching and wrinkling. This pad can be easily trimmed with scissors for a custom fit. A rug pad is essential to keeping your rug attractive and to extend the life of your rug. Mohawk always recommends the use of a slip resistant rug pad under your rug. Rug pads should be spot cleaned with a solution of mild detergent and water or cleaned professionally. Do not machine wash.

Blown away by this product. The dual surface rug pad doesn't move once it was placed on my hardwood floors along with my area rug on top. I am so used to my rugs moving around even with the sticky tabs that are offered in stop but with this rug pad, there is no movement at all. Plus my rug lays on top perfectly. Highly recommend and will only be purchasing this dual action rug pad moving forward. Plus it makes for a cushioned surface with is lovely.
Needed something to put under a bike trainer mat that would protect the wood floor. This was not very thick so it was perfect and keeps the mat in place. It did have a strong smell as some reviews said, but I just left it outside draped over a rail for a couple of days and most of the smell dissipated. Works well for the use for which I purchased it at a good price.
This is a top-notch rug pad. It boasts wonderful strength and softness that can give even thin rugs extra plushness. It is also highly practical rubber backing providing grip in addition to the fact that the wrong pattern is even trimmable allowing for adjustment.
I know some other reviews reported a really bad smell. the one I just bought today has no bad smell whatsoever. it's working great.
On sale it was a good price. Effective, as it prevents my 5x7 rug from slipping on my wooden floors. Smell is weird at first, but dissipates quickly. Easily trimmable with scissors.
