I have 2 Autistic children. Both girls and very tall. They chair is sturdy and soothing. Would recommend for any child , especially one with sensory sensitivity.
I bought two of these for my resource type classroom. I have a lot of students that were constantly rocking back in their chairs and then falling. This has eliminated that completely. They love them and can focus on their assignments while so subtly moving. The chairs are sturdy and fit my 3rd and 4th graders perfectly. My 1st graders sit criss-cross in them and push the against the table to rock.
We have had this chair for over 6 months now. Our daughter uses it daily during meals and homework. It provides enough movement to keep her relaxed and engaged and has made mealtime more enjoyable for all. The chair is about an inch taller than our dining chairs and the rocker legs stick out about 6 in. (See pics) Although the weight limit is 150 lbs, both my husband and I have used it without any problems. This chair is best for older elementary-adults. Younger students wouldn't be able to reach the floor.
Works like a miracle! Rocks quite a bit so use a rug underneath. Looks great. Easy assembly. Only negative is the legs are a bit big. Nice color too!
Homeschooling and keeps fidgeting teen focused. Doesn’t roll across the room and the movement is enough to move yet be stationary. Other child now wants one too.
My kiddo loves this chair (I like it too tbh!) and is able to enjoy mealtimes longer because of it. I do have to say it hurts like a 🐩 when they rock on your toe by accident 😭
