This iPad may be the the successor to the iPad, but thankfully it came pre-installed with Apple's latest software: iOS 7 right out of the box, which makes it up to date ad ready to go! It's so beautiful with it's glossy white faceplate and silver backplate hardware and its gorgeous software that when held in the hand is a visual masterpiece crafted by Apple! Not only is it beautiful, it is also lightweight and feels so premium when held. I, myself couldn't believe that I owned an iPad as I've wanted one since it initially released. It has that effect on you: the disbelief effect that'll have you thinking like me: "Wow, do I really own and am holding this innovative piece of art?" I have no complaints. it's portable, lightweight and a really convenient device!

At first I was a bit hesitant about purchasing the ipad. When the first generation came out I had no interest what-so-ever. It wasn't untill a cople of weeks ago I did some heavy research on tablet pc'. Comparing different models ect. What made me ultimately get the ipad was all the reviews I read on it vs the play book, and the samsung galaxey tablet. I really find that I use it every day, and that was one of my biggest concerns. I play games on it, have a bunch of books I love on there, as well as music, besides web surfing, I use it as a personal journal. I don't regret my purchase and it was worth every cent. However I don't recommend.buying the smart cover. It doesn't give enough coverage, instead I purchased a product from hear called roo case and I love it! I also got a anti-glear screen protector. I highley recommended this product.

I used to talk so much trash about the iPad 1 when it came out. Over sized iPhone, what's the point, I'll stick with my lap top blah blah bleh. Well, that is until I actually picked one up and used it. After spending a whole day driving and searching through three towns for an available unit at any store,my gf and I finally found one ( iPad 1). Long story short it ended up spending the first week with me ( I know I'm awful) as I enjoyed hbo streaming through the xfinity app. When the iPad 1 couldn't cut it anymore I turned to the iPad 2 and I am more then satisfied even after the new hi res iPad came out. I love my 2 and prefer to surf the web and watch movies on this thing over my laptop. Amazon you're the best!

I have had every android tablet on the market, from the acer aconia tab, to the samsung galazy tab, to the blackberry playbook, all the way to the amazon kindle, and now i have the ipad as well. The ipad is noce, the app store is nice, the screen is big, but i like it. I have it in an otterbox defender series case which makes the tablet seem heavy, but the protection is well worth it, and the case's weight I became accustomed to. This is a great product, woth a lot of features, and completely worth the money. But there may be a few cheaper sites to find it (cowboom) but that is only sometimes. I received mine from amazon and am completely happy and pleased. Awesome tablet.

This is the first Apple product that I bought. It has changed my life. From online banking, to shopping, to relaxing and wasting a little time. I use it for everything. I changed my phone to and iPhone, and now I have an Air Mac. The cloud has made it so convenient to do the same work from any device without having to transfer files, or use file sharing apps that cost money. How did I ever live without it?

I was very pleased with this iPad. It loaded properly, it is still fast (even for a generation 2), and the packaging to keep it safe in transit was great. The battery performs well. No problems with screen resolution, maneuvering through apps, and set up (in no particular order). All in all, a great purchase and I"m a pleased customer.

I am a yoga teacher. I use this to capture new student contact info, keep attendance records, refer to pose cheat sheet, and play music during meditation. I also read a lot on it. I love having an extensive library at my fingertips. An incredible number of classics are free on iBooks, Kindle and Gutenberg.org as are lesser known works by the authors of those classics. The camera is not so hot, but I have a good camera. This one will do in a pinch. The other capabilities more than make up for the camera's deficiencies. The Facebook app makes viewing all the photos that go by on Facebook a wonderful experience. National Geographic is gorgeous on this thing.

If you want to make pictures you have to choose the iPad 3 with the better camera. Also if you want to use it with GPS Navigation, you need a iPad with 3G - this iPad is only WIFI - so it don't come with an GPS! But for using it for checking Mails, or for Facebook it's perfect. If I don't have Wifi where I am I switch on my Hotspot from my iPhone and I Internet where ever I want. For the way I use it, it's perfect! And the shipping was really fast. The dealer was nice if I call him and ask, if he can sent it as soon as possible! He does it!!!!!

I bought this for my husband, as a wedding gift from me to him actually, he loved it and we have not stopped using it since it came into our lives. The reason I went to online purchase is because at the time it was really difficult to get your hands on one of these bad boys in stores. I would have had to camp out and hope that there were enough to go around. I couldnt do that at the time (planning a wedding) so I decided to purchase it online. The ipad is awesome. Fast, the battery lasts forever, and it picks up wifi quickly and efficiantly. We love it and use it all the time.

I had given my son and daughter-in-law and iPad for Christmas. What none of us counted on was how much my 4 year old granddaughter loved spending time on it. So, I decided to "spoil" her a little and bought this one for her. She absolutely loves it, and since she is also home schooled, this is a tremendous asset. The only drawback is that my son and daughter in law have to limit the amount of time she spends on it...she is like a sponge when it comes to learning! I just wish these were around when I was her age!
