Usage Directions: Your water filter pitcher can be ready to use in a few steps. No presoak or rinse required. Wash your hands before touching the filter. Hand wash pitcher, lid and reservoir. Insert the filter into the reservoir. Add cold tap water. Discard first three pitchers of filtered water or use to water plants. Replace the water filter every 120 gallons or 6 months. Substances reduced may not be in all users water. Do not use with hot water (85F max).
Caution Statements: The Brita Elite Filter is not intended to purify water. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.

Included is a Brita Elite Filter that lasts 6 months and filters out up to 99% of the lead in my tap water. With the SmartLight Filter Indicator I will know when to change the filter. Water pours easily from the pitcher and it fits perfectly in my fridge.

As a couple that live in Pennsylvania we have well water and we never know just how "clean" it is. I'm happy to add this Brita Filtering pitcher to my household. It's extremely easy to put together and watching it filter the water is entertaining. I also like how it comes with a filter light letting you know when it's time to replace them. I know feel more confident drinking water as well as giving cleaner water to my pets and plants. 10/10!!

It’s the brand that I trust the most for filtering minerals and chlorine in my water for better tasting water. This is a 10 cup water filter which is the perfect size for me. It fits perfectly on the counter and doesn’t take up that much space in my fridge. The design is clever and practical. The filter lasts a few months for a household of 2.
